Sale of Lease of Reserve at Patea.

District Land and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 16th May, 1892.

IT is hereby notified that the lease of Section No. 32, Block VIII., Waimate Survey District, containing 28 acres, will be offered at public auction, at the Land Office, New Plymouth, on Wednesday, the 13th July, 1892, at 11 a.m.

The term of the lease will be for seven years, and the upset rental 10s. per acre per annum.

The land is situate on the Waingongoro River, about four miles from the Town of Hawera, and local bodies have the right to remove gravel from the section.

No compensation will be allowed for improvements at the end of the term.

Further particulars may be ascertained on application at this office.

Lease of Reserves to be sold at Auction.

District Land and Survey Office,
Christchurch, 16th May, 1892.

IT is hereby notified, in terms of "The Public Reserves Act, 1881," that the leases of the under-mentioned reserves will be offered for sale by public auction, at this office, on Tuesday, the 5th July, 1892, at 11 o'clock a.m. Three months' rent to the 1st October, 1892, must be paid on the fall of the hammer. The term of lease will in each case be for seven years, subject to the right of the Crown to terminate each lease by a year's notice if the land is required by the Government for any purpose:—

Reserve 61, situated at Adderley Head, Port Lyttelton; area, 323 acres; upset annual rental, £40 7s. 6d. Access to this reserve can only be obtained by water. The land occupied by the Lyttelton Harbour Board's pilot-station in Little Port Cooper, the site of the look-out house on the head, and right-of-way between the two are reserved from lease.

Cemetery Reserve, No. 62A, at Camp Bay, Port Lyttelton; area, 30 acres; upset annual rental, £3 15s. The lessee will be required to fence off the graves on the point within the reserve.

The lessees will have the right of occupying and using the lands for grazing purposes, but will be prohibited from cropping the same.

Rural Land for Sale by Auction.

IT is hereby notified, in terms of "The Land Act, 1885," that the under-mentioned section of rural land will be offered for sale for cash, by public auction, at this office, on Wednesday, the 17th August, 1892.

One-fifth of the purchase-money, and the amount of valuation for improvements, must be deposited on the fall of the hammer, and the balance, together with £1 Crown-grant fee, within thirty days, or the deposit will be forfeited.

There are no limitations or restrictions incumbent upon purchasers of cash lands at auction.

Plans and full particulars may be obtained at this office.

This reserve is situated at Barry's Pass, adjoining the main road from Little River to Akaroa, about a quarter-mile westward of the Hill Top Hotel, and comprises hilly and undulating land, formerly covered with forest, but now roughly cleared and well grassed. A sum of £37 16s. must be paid on the fall of the hammer for the improvements on the land, consisting of fencing.

Native Land Court Notices.

Notice of Time and Place for inspecting Plans.—Rohe-potae Block.

Native Land Court Office,
Auckland, 22nd June, 1892.

WHEREAS during the sittings of the Court held at Otorohanga on various occasions since the 28th day of July, 1886, orders have from time to time been made declaring the Native owners respectively of parts of the said land known as Rohepotae: And whereas surveys have now been made of the lands comprised in some of the aforesaid orders:

Now notice is hereby given that the plans of such surveys, and which are more particularly set out in the Schedule hereto, will be deposited for inspection in the Native Land Court, at Otorohanga, from the 5th day of July till the 26th day of July, 1892.

If any person is desirous of making objection to the boundaries of any of the said parts as defined by the said plans, he must give notice thereof to the Court, at Otorohanga, stating the grounds of his objection, on or before the 27th day of July, 1892.

All such objections will be heard and determined by the Court, at Otorohanga, on the 3rd day of August, 1892, and following days.
