SPECIAL ORDERS.

THAT a special rate of 1½d. in the pound be hereby struck over the whole of the rateable property within the Ongo Ward of the Kiwitea Road District (Crown and Native lands excepted), for the purpose of providing interest on a loan of £5,000, to be raised under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886.”

Also that a special rate of 7½d. in the pound on the whole of the rateable property within the Sandon Special-settlement Block (Crown and Native lands excepted) be hereby struck, for the purpose of providing interest on a loan of £4,000, to be raised under “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1886.”

Such rates to be annually recurring for twenty-six years.

I certify that the above special orders were made by the Kiwitea Road Board on the 18th day of June, 1892, as required by the Road Boards Act.

Notice of the Laying-off of a Road through the Whawhakanga and Porangahau Blocks, Hawke’s Bay Land District.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, under the authority of “The Native Land Court Act, 1886,” and its amendments, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 28th day of January, 1891, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said colony, by a warrant of the date mentioned therein.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situate in Block XI., Porangahau Survey District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 27 perches, more or less, being a road, 100 links wide, traversing the Whawhakanga Block, the western side of which starts at a peg south 37498 links and west 32344 links from Trig. Station A; and proceeds generally in a north-easterly direction to a point on the western side of the presently-existing road south 32650 links and west 30684 links from the said Trig. Station A.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situate in Block XI., Porangahau Survey District, being portion of the Whawhakanga Block, containing by admeasurement 26 perches, more or less, the western boundary-line of which starts from a point on the western side of the presently-existing road south 32490 links and west 30410 links from Trig. Station A; and proceeds northerly and easterly along lines, 247·4 links and 134·9 links respectively; and thence southerly along the present road, 313·8 links.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situate in Block XI., Porangahau Survey District, being portion of the Whawhakanga Block, containing by admeasurement 19 perches, more or less, the north-western boundary-line of which starts from a point on the south-eastern side of the presently-existing road south 32745 links and west 30652 links from Trig. Station A; and proceeds north-easterly along the southern side of the present road, 306·7 and 102·7 links respectively; and thence southerly and westerly along lines, 145·8 and 317·5 links respectively.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situate in Block XI., Porangahau Survey District, being portion of the Whawhakanga Block, containing by admeasurement 0·7 perches, more or less, the north-western boundary-line of which starts at a point on the south-eastern side of the presently-existing road south 32327 links and west 30173 links from Trig. Station A; and proceeds northerly and easterly along the southern side of the present road, 10·7 and 95·6 links respectively; thence westerly along a line, 102·3 links.

Also all that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, situate in Block XI., Porangahau Survey District, being portion of the Whawhakanga Block, containing by admeasurement 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, the north-western boundary-line of which starts from a point on the north-west side of the presently-existing road south 32216 links and west 30071 links from Trig.
