Name of Town of Fairlie Creek changed to Fairlie.

Wellington, 4th June, 1892.
IT is hereby notified, in pursuance of section 12 of "The
Land Act, 1885," that His Excellency the Adminis-
trator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in
Council, has changed the name of the township in the
County of Geraldine, hitherto known as "Fairlie Creek," to
"Fairlie."

Sale of Lease of Reserve at Patea.
District Land and Survey Office,
New Plymouth, 16th May, 1892.
IT is hereby notified that the lease of Section No. 32,
Block VIII., Waimate Survey District, containing 28
acres, will be offered at public auction, at the Land Office,
New Plymouth, on Wednesday, the 13th July, 1892, at
11 a.m.
The term of the lease will be for seven years, and the
upset rental 10s. per acre per annum.
The land is situate on the Waingongoro River, about four
miles from the Town of Hawera, and local bodies have the
right to remove gravel from the section.
No compensation will be allowed for improvements at the
end of the term.
Further particulars may be ascertained on application at
this office.

Temporary Grazing-lease, Canterbury Land District.

IT is hereby notified, in terms of "The Land Act, 1885,"
that the under-mentioned section will be offered for lease
by public auction, at the Land Office, Christchurch, on Wed-
nesday, the 29th June, 1892, at 11 a.m. :—

This section is situated at Coutts Island, about a quarter
of a mile east of the post-office of that name.
The lease will be from year to year, subject to the right
of the Crown to resume possession, on six months' notice,
should the land be required by the Government for any
purpose.

for inspecting Plan after Interlocutory Order.—Otuoroa

WHEREAS at a Court held at Otaki, on the 27th day
of May, 1885, and following days, orders were made
respecting the aforesaid block of land that certificates of
title should be issued when a proper survey should be made:
Notice is hereby given that the plan of such survey is
now deposited for inspection at the office of the Resident
Magistrate at Otaki.
If any person is desirous of making objection to the
boundaries of the said block as defined by the said plan, he
must give notice thereof to the Court, stating the grounds
of his objection, on or before the 23rd day of June, 1892.
All such objections will be heard and determined at a sitting
of the Court, of which due notice will be hereafter given.
