Setting apart Land in the Marlborough Land District for Leasing as Small Grazing-runs under “The Land Act, 1885.”

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” and of every other power and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby set aside the pastoral lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto, under Part VII. of the said Act (subject to existing rights), and also do hereby subdivide the same as small grazing-runs, in the areas respectively in the said Schedule mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by estimation 640 acres, situated in Block I., Tennyson Survey District, and Block IV., Orieri Survey District. Bounded generally towards the north and west partly by Sections Nos. 103, 124, 148, and 145, and partly by the waters of Nydia Bay; towards the east by Small-grazing Run No. 30 to a leading spur; towards the south-east by that spur to the southern boundary of Orieri Survey District; and towards the south by a due west line to said Section No. 103.
Also all that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by estimation 520 acres, situated in Block XII., Wakamarina Survey District. Bounded generally towards the north by Sections Nos. 4, 46, and a public road to the summit of the ridge between Mahakipawa Arm and the Kai-tuna Valley; towards the east by that summit to a point in transit with the eastern boundary of Section No. 51 produced; thence by a right line to the north-eastern corner of said Section No. 51; towards the south by said Section No. 51, Section No. 118, and a public road; and towards the west by a public road.
As the same are more particularly shown on the plan deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor, Blenheim.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice, the Administrator of the Government of Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

Run No. 12, situate in Blocks V., VI., and X., Russell Survey District, Bay of Islands County, and containing about 2,170 acres.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir James Prendergast, Knight, Chief Justice, the Administrator of the Government of Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of May, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-two.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one hundred and sixty-second section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, do by this Proclamation set apart the sections of land described in the Schedule hereto, and declare that the same shall be open for special settlement.
