terms and conditions on which the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto shall be disposed of, and the mode of payment for the same, that is to say:—
REGULATION.
The said sections of land enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be leased and disposed of in accordance with the provisions of the Village-homestead Regulations, made by Order in Council issued under the said Act on the 27th February, 1891, all the terms and conditions of which said regulations shall and may be applied to such land accordingly.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of April, 1892.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority contained in the eighth section of “The Auctioneers Act, 1891,” His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby declare that the County of Whakatane (being a part of the colony which is sparsely populated) shall be a special district for the purposes of the said Act, and shall be known by the name of the Whakatane District; and it is hereby declared that the amount of the auctioneer’s license-fee for the said district shall be ten pounds, and that the County Clerk of the County of Whakatane shall be the Licensing Officer for the said Whakatane District.

Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-sixth day of April, 1892.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor in Council by Hape Puketapu, the Trustee for Pero te One and four others who are successors to Mere Anaru Whakatau and Heni Wereta, the successors to Wereta Matoa, comprising a majority in number of the Native owners of the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of such land contained in the Crown grant, bearing date the nineteenth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven, described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the Native Land Court, and the said Court has reported that the provisions of the law in that behalf have been complied with: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency Sir James Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by “The Native Land Act, 1888,” and acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said Crown grant on the alienation of the said land are hereby removed.
