PRIVATE BILL INTITULED “THE LINCOLN SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE EMPOWERING ACT, 1892.”
(Being an Act to empower the Canterbury College to pay certain moneys to the Trust Funds for the School of Agriculture.)
Pursuant to the standing orders of the General Assembly of New Zealand relative to Private Bills, notice is hereby given that application will be made to the General Assembly of New Zealand in Parliament assembled, at its next session, on behalf of the Board of Governors of the Canterbury College, for leave to introduce and pass an Act enacting—
That the sum of £5,000, being part of the moneys expended in the purchase of a site and erection of buildings for educational institutions under the control of the said College, and charged or debited against the funds of the Trust for the School of Agriculture, shall be paid by the said College to the Trust funds for the said School of Agriculture in manner hereinafter provided, and shall be charged by the said College to the Trust funds for the purpose of an endowment for the promotion of superior education, and to the funds belonging to the Trust for the endowment for a School of Technical Science and other purposes contemplated by “The Canterbury Museum and Library Ordinance, 1872,” being some of the purposes for which the said reserves were made :
That the sum of £2,187 10s., part of the said sum of £5,000, and the interest thereon, as hereinafter mentioned, shall be paid by the said College to the Trust funds for the said School of Agriculture out of the said funds for the time being belonging to the Trust for the endowment for a School of Technical Science and other purposes contemplated by “The Canterbury Museum and Library Ordinance, 1872 :”
That the sum of £2,812 10s., balance of the said sum of £5,000, and interest thereon, as hereinafter mentioned, shall be paid by the said College to the Trust fund for the School of Agriculture out of the funds for the time being belonging to the said Trust for the purpose of an endowment for superior education :
That the said sums so authorised to be paid as aforesaid shall be paid by the said College as soon as the moneys for such purpose are available ; and until such sums be paid as aforesaid the said College shall yearly and every year credit the Trust account for the said School of Agriculture with interest upon the said sums of £2,187 10s. and £2,812 10s. respectively, at the rate of £6 per centum per annum.
And notice is hereby given that copies of the Bill intended to be submitted to Parliament, as before mentioned, and intituled “The Lincoln School of Agriculture Empowering Act, 1892,” will be deposited for inspection at the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders on or before the commencement of the coming session of Parliament.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore existing in the coach-building business carried on by us in Courtenay Place, under the style of “Rouse and Hurrell,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts owing to the said firm will be received by the new firm of ROUSE AND HURRELL, whose receipt will be a sufficient discharge ; and all amounts owing by the said late firm will be paid by the said new firm.

In the matter of “The Savings-bank Act, 1858,” and Amendments thereof, and in the matter of Piripi Puhau, deceased.
NOTICE is hereby given, for the information of whom it may concern, that ROERA RANGI, of Kaipakopako, in the Provincial District of Taranaki, aboriginal native of New Zealand, has delivered to the Trustees of the New Plymouth Savings-bank a duly-attested notice in writing (a translation whereof is subjoined), claiming, as next-of-kin to Piripi Puhau, deceased, to be entitled to receive the principal sum of thirty pounds (£30) and interest at the credit of one George Sisson Cooper, on behalf of the said Piripi Puhau, with the said bank.
