Whangarei Ruatangata S.W. 68, open land, poor soil; 79, open land, poor soil; portions of 81 to 102, open land, poor soil; 105 to 108, generally open land of poor quality, with a few acres of bush on each section, fronting Mangare River; portions of 110 to 115, open fern and tea-tree land of poor quality, and fronting Wairoa River; 121 to 126, open land of poor quality; 136 to 138, open land, fair quality.

Whangarei Maungatapere Sections 60, 61, and 68, principally forest lands, good volcanic soil; 60 and 61 have each about 10 acres of open land the other lots are open and of poor quality.
