Private Advertisements.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the several Acts amending the same, and in the matter of the Mokau Co-operative Coal-mining Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 20th day of February, 1892, presented to the said Court by Charles Blomefield Douglas, of New Plymouth, Surveyor, a creditor of the said company; and the said petition is directed to be heard before a Judge of the said Court on the 8th day of March, 1892; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the said company under the above Act should appear at the time of hearing by himself or his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring the same, by the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Wheal Prosper Gold-mining Company (Limited), held at the company’s office, Australian Mutual Provident Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on the 21st January, 1892, the following special resolution was passed: “That the company be wound up voluntarily; and that Mr. William Gray be appointed Liquidator.” A subsequent meeting of the company was called for the 10th February, 1892, to confirm the above, but lapsed.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Northern Wairoa Tent, register No. 190 (8), held at Mangawhare, branch of the New Zealand Independent Order of Rechabites, is dissolved by instrument registered at this office the 25th day of February, 1892, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which the advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in, or having any claim on, the funds of the branch to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

PATENT OFFICE SUPPLEMENT.
A SEPARATE Supplement to the New Zealand Gazette is now published fortnightly, containing all notices concerning patents and trade-marks required by law to be gazetted; also, particulars of lapsed applications for patents, expired letters patent, and other information useful to inventors, manufacturers, and others. The Supplement will be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on payment of a special subscription of ten shillings per annum, payable in advance to the Government Printer.
THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
For statements under the Mining Act the charge is 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAYMENT BEING MADE.
