Foregoing regulations to apply to Railways.

Subject to this Regulation, and when not inconsistent therewith, Parts I., II., and III. of these Regulations shall apply to all persons in the service of the Railway Department.

VI. GOVERNMENT INSURANCE ACCOUNTS.

  1. All moneys paid to or by Agents, or Postmasters acting as Agents, are to be paid into the nearest branch of the Bank of New Zealand, to the credit of “The Government Insurance Account,” on the day of receipt, or as soon thereafter as is possible. All such moneys are to be accounted for under the regulations and instructions for the time being in force in regard to the Government Insurance Department. In the case of Postmasters in places in which there is no branch of the bank, such moneys are to be transferred to “The Post Office Account,” to the credit of the Government Insurance Department.
