THE PACIFIC ISLANDS PUBLISHING COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.
THE general meeting of the company, called for the 30th November, 1891, having lapsed for want of a quorum, and no one attending on the day to which the same was adjourned, I hereby give notice, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” that a General Meeting of the members will be held on Thursday, the 14th day of April, 1892, at 12 o’clock noon, at the company’s office, Panama Street, Wellington, for the purpose of having an account laid before it showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining, by extraordinary resolution, the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

The following extraordinary resolutions will be proposed:—
- That the account submitted to this meeting, and showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted, and the assets of the company disposed of, be received and adopted.
- That the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, be retained by the Liquidator, he undertaking to destroy the same upon the dissolution of the company.
A resolution determining in what manner the balance to the company’s credit shall be disposed of will require to be passed.

THE GROCERS’ CO-OPERATIVE PURCHASING COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.
AN extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the Grocers’ Co-operative Purchasing Company (Limited), Christchurch, was held on the premises of Mr. J. H. Hopkins, Woolston, on the 26th day of January, 1892, when it was proved that by reason of its liabilities the company could not continue its business, and it was deemed advisable to wind up the same voluntarily under “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the Acts amending the same.
Messrs. T. TAYLOR and J. H. HOPKINS were appointed Liquidators.
All communications to be addressed to the undersigned.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s. per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per line for each insertion.
For statements under the Mining Act the charge is 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before two o’clock of the day preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable.
Postage- or duty-stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a commission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAYMENT BEING MADE.
