NOTICE is hereby given that a General Meeting of the
members of the Prospectors’ Company (Limited) will
be held at the office of the undersigned, Bond Street,
Dunedin, on Wednesday, the 24th day of February, 1892, at
12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of considering an account
prepared by the Liquidator showing the manner in which
the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the
company disposed of.

THE FAIR MAID GOLD-MINING COMPANY
(LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary meeting
of the Fair Maid Gold-mining Company (Limited)
was held in the company’s office, Dunedin, on the 17th day
of November, 1891, when the following extraordinary reso-
lution was passed: “That it has been proved that the com-
pany cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business,
and it is advisable to wind up the same.” At the same
meeting Mr. ALEXANDER BARTLEMAN, of Bond Street, Dun-
edin, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator of the said
company.

THE following special resolution was passed at an extra-
ordinary general meeting of the shareholders, held at

(Limited) be wound up voluntarily; and that Mr. D. G.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a poll of the ratepayers,
taken on Saturday, the 12th day of December, 1891,
under “The Municipal Corporations Act, 1886,” on the pro-
posal to raise a loan of £600 for the purpose of increasing the
water-supply of the borough, &c., the following was the
result of the poll:—

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF A ROAD IN THE MAUNGARU SURVEY DISTRICT,
IN THE COUNTY OF HOBSON.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the
Hobson County Council, under the provisions of
“The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the amendments thereto,
to execute certain public works, to wit, the construction of a
road in the Survey District of Maungaru, County of Hobson;
and for the purposes of such public works the lands described
in the Schedule hereunder are required to be taken. And
notice is hereby given that the plans of the said road and of
the land so required to be taken are deposited in the Council
Chambers, Aratapu, and the Tangihua Post-office, at Tangi-
teroria, and are there open for inspection. And notice is
hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of
the said public works or by the taking of the said lands
shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execu-
tion of the said public works or to the taking of such lands,
set forth the same in writing, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the Chairman of the
Hobson County Council, Aratapu.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 rood
15 perches, more or less, being portion of Ohautahi Block
5379 (in red), situate in Block III., Maungaru Survey Dis-
trict, in the Provincial District of Auckland, as more par-
ticularly delineated on plan marked 6261 (in blue), and
thereon coloured red.

be issued free to subscribers to the Gazette, and to others on
payment of a special subscription of ten shillings per annum,
payable in advance to the Government Printer.
