Crown Lands Notices.

Lease of Land in City of Auckland.

IT is hereby notified that the section enumerated hereunder will be offered for lease for fourteen years, by public auction, at this office, at noon on Wednesday, the 20th January, 1892:—

CITY OF AUCKLAND.

Lot 24 of Section 8, containing 18 perches. Upset price, £10 per annum.

The section has frontages of 143 links to Beach Road, and 82 links to Short Street.

Crown Lands, Land District of Canterbury, to be leased on the Perpetual-leasing System, under Section 161 of “The Land Act, 1885.”

Christchurch, 10th November, 1891.

IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned section will be opened for application on Wednesday, the 13th January, 1892, under section 161 of “The Land Act, 1885,” for perpetual lease, for a term of thirty years, renewable, subject to the conditions of residence and improvements prescribed by the Land Acts. Every application must be accompanied by a statutory declaration (in form below) and by £2 10s., the amount of the first six months’ rent, and a fee of £1 10s. Should there be more than one application on the same day, the right to occupy shall be determined by lot:—

ASHBURTON COUNTY.—ASHBURTON SURVEY DISTRICT.

Reserve 264, Lot 12, Block VII., 50 acres; price per acre, £2; capital value, £100; rent per acre, 2s.; half-yearly rental, £2 10s.

This section is situated on the south-eastern side of the Main South Railway, about two miles north-east of the Dromore Railway-station, and comprises light arable land. A sum of £100 shall be paid at the time of application for the improvements on the land, consisting of dwelling-house, fencing, crops, water-race, &c.

DECLARATION ON TAKING A LEASE, OR BECOMING A TRANSFEREE OR SUB-LESSEE OF A LEASE UNDER SECTION 161.

I, , of , in the Land District, and Colony of New Zealand, do solemnly and sincerely declare—

  1. That I am of the age of seventeen years and upwards.

  2. That I am the person who, subject to the provisions of “The Land Act, 1885,” am tendering for the purchase [or is desirous of becoming the transferee or sub-lessee] of a lease of Section , Block , District.

  3. That I am purchasing such lease solely for my own use and benefit, and for the purpose of cultivation, and not directly or indirectly for the use or benefit of any other person whomsoever.

  4. That, including the said lands, I am not the owner, tenant, or occupier, directly or indirectly, either by myself or jointly with any other person or persons, of any lands anywhere in the colony exceeding in the whole fifty acres.

  5. That I have not within seven years from the date hereof surrendered a lease with perpetual right of renewal of the lands for a lease whereof I am now tendering.

And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand intituled “The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882.”

Full particulars as to conditions, and plans and forms of application, may be obtained at the Land Office, Christchurch, where applications will be received, on and after the date specified, between the hours of 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2.30 p.m. to 4.30 p.m., except on Saturdays, when the office closes at 1 p.m.
