NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same within one calendar month
from the date of publication hereof.

APPLICATION having been made to register a certain
dealing affecting the land comprised in certificate of
title, Vol. lvii., folio 233, whereof WILLIAM CRAZE and
HENRY TRICKETT are the registered Proprietors, and a
statutory declaration of the loss of the said certificate of
title having been lodged with me, and an application having
been made for the issue of a provisional certificate of title,
I hereby give notice that I shall register such dealing and
issue the provisional certificate as requested at the expira-
tion of fourteen days from the date of the Gazette containing
this notice.

Mining Notices.

IN THE MATTER OF THE RESCUE GOLD-DREDGING
COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of
the above-named company, duly convened and held at
the registered office of the company in Princes Street, Dun-
edin, on the 3rd day of November, 1891, the following
special resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent
extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said
company, also duly convened, the following resolution was
confirmed:—
"That the company be wound up voluntarily, under the
provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882.'" And at such last-
mentioned meeting John Alwent Chapman was appointed
Liquidator for the purposes of the winding-up.

THE UPPER SHOTOVER GOLD-DREDGING COM-
PANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting
of the Upper Shotover Gold-dredging Company (Lim-
ited), held on the 12th November, 1891, the following resolu-
tions were passed, the same being confirmed at a subsequent
meeting held on the 2nd December, 1891:—

  1. "That the company be wound up voluntarily."
  2. "That Mr. W. Vivian be appointed Liquidator."

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and in the
matter of the Teremakau Quartz-mining Company
(Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of the shareholders of the above-named
Teremakau Quartz-mining Company (Limited), held in the
rooms of the Corn Exchange, Cashel Street, Christchurch,
on Monday, the 30th day of November, 1891, for the purpose
of considering the question of a voluntary winding-up of
the said company, the following resolutions were passed:—
(a.) "That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the
company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue
its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same
voluntarily."
(b.) "That Alfred Bullock, of Christchurch, Gentleman,
and Thomas Adolph Arrowsmith, of Christchurch, Accountant,
be appointed the Liquidators of the same."
