hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same within one calendar month
after the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

THE ORIENTAL GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

AT a general meeting of the Oriental Gold-mining Com-
pany (Limited), duly convened and held at Auckland,
on Friday, the 30th October, 1891, the subjoined resolution
was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general
meeting of the said company, also duly convened and held
at the same place, on Tuesday, the 17th November, 1891,
the subjoined resolution was duly confirmed :—

RESOLUTION.

“That the company be wound up voluntarily, under the
provisions of ‘The Companies Act, 1882;’ and that Mr. H.
GILFILLAN, jun., be appointed Liquidator, at a fee of £5 5s.”

MOUNT EDWARD GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

THE following special resolution was passed at an extra-
ordinary general meeting of the shareholders, held at
the company’s office, New Zealand Insurance Buildings,
Auckland, on Thursday, the 19th day of November, 1891:—

Resolved, “That the Mount Edward Gold-mining Com-
pany (Limited) be wound up voluntarily; and that Mr. D. G.
MacDonnell be appointed Liquidator.”

Friendly Societies’ Registry Office,
Wellington, 19th November, 1891.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 10 of “The Friendly
Societies Act, 1882,” by writing under his hand dated this
19th day of November, 1891, cancelled the registry of the
Hope of Hastings Lodge, Register No. 146 (36), held at
Hastings, Branch of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows
of New Zealand, on the ground that the said branch has
ceased to exist.

RICHMOND AND NEW BRIGHTON TRAMWAY COMPANY (LIMITED).

RESOLUTION passed at a special general meeting held
on the 24th October, and duly confirmed at a meeting
held on the 19th November, 1891:—

“That this company be wound up voluntarily; and that
Mr. Ebenezer MacRae be appointed Liquidator for the pur-
pose of winding-up the affairs of the company.”

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” “The Com-
panies Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1883,” and “The Com-
panies Act 1882 Amendment Act, 1890,” and in the matter
of the Farmers’ Union Grain, Produce, and Finance
Company (Limited).

THE creditors of the above-named company are required,
on or before the 4th day of December, 1891, to send
their names and addresses, and the particulars of their debts
or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors,
if any, to Lyonel Charles Williams, of Christchurch, the
Official Liquidator of the said company; and, if so required,
by notice in writing from the said Official Liquidator, are, by
their solicitors, to come in and prove their said debts or
claims, at the Registrar’s Office, in the Supreme Courthouse,
at Christchurch, at such time as shall be specified in such
notice, or, in default thereof, they will be excluded from the
benefit of any distribution made before such debts are
proved. Friday, the 18th day of December, 1891, at eleven
o’clock in the forenoon, at the Registrar’s said office, is ap-
pointed for hearing and adjudicating upon the debts and
claims.

OTAMATEA COUNTY COUNCIL.

PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR PUBLIC WORKS.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
Otamatea County Council, under the provisions of
“The Public Works Act, 1882,” to take land for a public
road, 1 chain wide, through the following properties, viz.:
Sections Nos. 9, 10, 15, 16, 21, and 26, middle part of Section
No. 27, north-east middle part of Section No. 27, north-east
part of Section No. 27, and Sections Nos. 87 and 88, Toka-
toka Survey District. A copy of the plan of the said pro-
posed road is open for inspection at the Post-office, Tokatoka.
The works proposed to be executed are clearing, forming,
and bridging.

All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in
writing any well-grounded objection to the execution of such
works or to the taking of such land, and to send such writ-
ing, within forty days from the first publication of this
notice, to the office of the County Council at Maungaturoto.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership hitherto existing between CHURCHWARD
AND MOELLER has been dissolved by mutual consent,
and will be carried on by T. L. Churchward and Co., who
will receive all moneys due to the firm, and discharge all
liabilities incurred by them.
