Rural Lands open for Sale or Selection, Taranaki Land District.

Department of Lands and Survey, New Plymouth, 15th October, 1891.

THE under-mentioned Crown lands will be open for sale or selection, in terms of sections 3 to 11 of “The Land Act Amendment Act, 1887,” either for cash, on deferred payments, or for perpetual lease, at the option of the selector, on and after Wednesday, the 2nd December, 1891. In cases where more than one application is received for the same section, priority of choice will be decided by lot on the following day, at 11 a.m., at the Crown Lands Office, New Plymouth:—

The general formation of the country is volcanic drift, resting on blue clay or papa, which crops out on the hills. The average height of the hills above the valleys is about 250ft. The southern end of the block is situated about ten miles from the Stratford Railway-station, along the East and Waiwiri Roads.
