SCHEDULE.

Description and Purpose of Land intended to be exchanged. Description of Land to be obtained in exchange therefor.
Part of Reserve No. 1754 (in red), 449 acres 1 rood 22 perches, more or less, being part of Reserve No. 1754 (in red) (vested in Selwyn County Council, by Order in Council, as a plantation reserve, dated the 14th September, 1886), Blocks IX., XIII., and XIV., on the map of the Rolleston Survey District; as the same is delineated on the official map in the Christchurch Survey Office. All those five parcels of land in the Rolleston and Leeston Survey Districts, Provincial District of Canterbury, hereinafter described, viz.:—

Part of Section No. 32004, 173 acres 3 roods 16 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 32004, Block XIV., on the map of the Rolleston, and Block II., on the map of the Leeston, Survey Districts, being a strip of land, 1200 links wide, along the northern side of the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of the section; as the same is delineated on the official map in the Christchurch Survey Office.
Part of Section No. 31462, 45 acres 3 roods 35 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 31462, Block XIV., on the map of the Rolleston Survey District, being a strip of land, 1200 links wide, along the northern side of the road which forms the south-eastern boundary of the section; as the same is delineated on the official map in the Christchurch Survey Office.
Parts of Sections Nos. 31459, 31461x, and 31461, 118 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, being parts of Sections Nos. 31459, 31461x, and 31461, Block XIV., on the map of the Rolleston Survey District; commencing at a point on the southern boundary of Reserve No. 1754 (in red), the said point being distant in a northerly direction 2800·8 links from the north-eastern corner of Section No.31459; thence south-westerly along a line bearing 39° 10′ 15″ through Sections Nos. 31459, 31461x, and 31461, 9746·6 links; thence westerly along a road-line, 1306·9 links; thence north-easterly on a line parallel to and 12 chains distant from the first-described boundary; thence south-easterly along Reserve No. 1754 (in red), 1200·4 links, to the commencing-point: save and excepting a road, 100 links wide, which passes through the above-described land; as the same is delineated on the official map in the Christchurch Survey Office.
Section No. 27313 and part of Section No. 31460, 96 acres 2 roods 3 perches, more or less, being Section No. 27313 and part of Section No. 31460, Block XIII., on the map of the Rolleston Survey District, being a strip of land, 1200 links wide, along the eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 17814 and 17818; as the same is delineated on the official map in the Christchurch Survey Office.
Part of Section No. 27924, 14 acres 1 rood 18 perches, more or less, being part of Section No. 27924, Block IX., on the map of the Rolleston Survey District, being a strip of land, 399·2 links wide, along the southern side of the road which forms the northern boundary of Section No. 27717; as the same is delineated on the official map in the Christchurch Survey Office. |

Exchange of Land in Canterbury.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this sixth day of November, 1891.

Present:

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto was reserved as a gravel-pit: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange the said land for that mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the fourth section of “The Public Reserves Act, 1881,” and the third section of “The Public Reserves Act Amendment Act, 1889,” doth hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the said reserve mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be exchanged for the land mentioned in the second column of the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

Description and Purpose of Land intended to be exchanged. Description of Land to be obtained in exchange therefor.
All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2325, situate in Block XII., Hororata Survey District, and Block IX., Hawkins Survey District; as the same is delineated on the map deposited in the Survey Office, Christchurch. All that parcel of land in the Canterbury Land District, containing 5 acres, more or less, situate in Block IX., Hawkins Survey District, being a block of land, 708 links square, forming part of Section No. 22193, and situate in the north-east corner of same; as it is more particularly delineated on the map deposited in the Survey Office, Christchurch.

All that parcel of land situate in Block IV., Westerfield Survey District, being Reserve No. 1944, containing 5 acres, more or less. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 25474, a distance of 5 chains; towards the east by Section No. 23719, a distance of 10 chains; towards the south by a road, a distance of 5 chains; and towards the west by said Section No. 25474, a distance of 10 chains. All that parcel of land, being part of Section No. 29002, situate in Block IV., Westerfield Survey District, containing 5 acres, more or less, being a rectangular block; commencing at the north-east corner of Section No. 29002, and extending along the north-eastern boundary of same a distance of 10 chains, the south-western boundary being 5 chains distant from and parallel to the north-eastern boundary.
