WELLINGTON CITY TRAMWAYS.
In the matter of “The Tramways Act, 1872.”
In the matter of an application intended to be made by Robert Mackay Greenfield, of Upper Willis Street, in the City of Wellington, Gentleman, and the Honourable Morgan Stanislaus Grace, of Molesworth Street, in the City of Wellington, Member of the Legislative Council of New Zealand (the present proprietors of the Wellington City Tramway), for an order authorising certain further extensions of the said tramway.
NOTICE is hereby given that, after the expiration of thirty days from the date hereof, application is intended to be made to His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand in Council for an order, under the provisions of “The Tramways Act, 1872,” empowering us, the undersigned Robert Mackay Greenfield and the Honourable Morgan Stanislaus Grace (hereinafter called “the proprietors”), to construct, make, maintain, and use a turn-out towards Newtown from the existing sheds of the proprietors, situate in Adelaide Road, in the City of Wellington, to the tramway authorised by and constructed under the provisions of the order of the Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, made on the 29th day of June, 1876, and an order of His Excellency the Governor of New Zealand in Council, made on the 21st June, 1888. And also to construct, make, maintain, and use an extension of the said tramway from its present terminus in Riddiford Street, in the said city, near the Newtown Hotel, along Riddiford Street aforesaid to the projection of the southern side-line of Horner Street; and an extension of such tramway from its present terminus in Thorndon Quay, in the said city, near the old Pipitea Railway Station, along Thorndon Quay aforesaid to the northern side-line of the extension of Davis Street: all which proposed works when made will be situate in the City of Wellington.
And that a copy of this advertisement and proper plans and sections of the proposed works will be deposited on the 22nd day of October, 1891, at the office of the Registrar of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, in the City of Wellington; the office of the Wellington City Council, Brandon Street, in the said city; and the office of the Public Works Department of the General Government, situate in the Government Buildings, Lambton Quay, in the said city. And that printed copies of the draft order, as proposed by the said Robert Mackay Greenfield and Morgan Stanislaus Grace, when deposited as required by the said Act, and also printed copies of such order when settled and made, will be deposited at the office of the Wellington City Tramways, situate in Adelaide Road, in the said city; and will there be furnished to all persons applying for them, at the price of one shilling each.

In the matter of “The Foreign Companies Act, 1884,” and of the China Traders’ Insurance Company (Limited).
IN conformity with and for the purposes of section 7 of the above Act, notice is hereby given that, on and after Monday, the 12th October, 1891, the office or place of business of the China Traders’ Insurance Company (Limited) in Wellington will be in Imperial Chambers, No. 6, Featherston Street, instead of in Hunter Street as formerly.

NOTICE is hereby given that at extraordinary general meetings of the Eden George Company (Limited), held on the 16th day of September, 1891, and on the 23rd day of September, 1891, the following resolutions were passed and confirmed respectively:—

“That the sale of the company’s business made to Eden George by the directors be confirmed.”
-
“That the affairs of the company be wound up voluntarily, and that Eden George be appointed Liquidator.”

I, GEORGE EDWARD ANSON, Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery of the University of Cambridge Member of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, and Licentiate of the Royal College of Physicians, London, now residing at Wellington, hereby give notice that it is my intention to apply, on the 9th day of November next, to the Registrar-General, at Wellington, to have my name and qualifications entered in the Medical Register of the colony; and that I have this day deposited my evidence of qualification in the office of the Registrar-General.
