consequent on the said notice and nomination of candidates,
or any or either of them, in respect of or in relation to the
said election shall be valid, notwithstanding any such mis-
feasance or omission as hereinbefore mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
CITY OF CHRISTCHURCH.
IN pursuance of "The Regulation of Elections Act, 1881,"
and "The Electoral Acts Amendment Act, 1890," I, George
Leslie Lee, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of
Christchurch, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a writ
bearing date the 16th day of September, 1891, under the hand
of the Clerk of the Writs, an election will be held for the
return of a qualified person to serve as a member for the
said electoral district, and that the poll, if necessary, will be
taken at the several polling-places of the said district on the
9th day of October, 1891.
Every person desirous of becoming a candidate must be
nominated by not less than two electors, by a nomination-
paper, as prescribed by section 5 of the Amendment Act, and
delivered to the Returning Officer on or before Friday, 2nd
October, 1891.
The following are the polling-places for the electoral dis-
trict:β
The Old Provincial Council Chamber, Durham Street.
The Oddfellows' Hall, Lichfield Street.
The Borough Council Chamber, Sydenham.
The Schoolroom, Selwyn Street.
The Borough Council Chamber, St. Albans, Papa-
nui Road.
The Library, Knightstown.
