Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over Land in the Otago Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land specified, under warrant of the date given, in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 37 perches, more or less, being a road, 100 links wide, traversing Section No. 22, Block X., Warepa Survey District, the centre line of which commences at a point on the north-eastern boundary-line of the said Section No. 22 distant 1763·8 links from the north-eastern corner of that section; and proceeds in a southerly direction for a distance of 2981·8 links to the road at the southern boundary of Section No. 22 aforesaid: as the same is delineated on map marked S.G. 13243, deposited in the Survey Office, Dunedin.

Date of warrant, 23rd October, 1890.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley, of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and of West Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron Cranley, of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this thirteenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one.

Regulations for Trout-, Perch-, and Tench-fishing, and Netting Trout, to apply to Counties of Amuri, Cheviot, and Kaikoura.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first day of July, 1891.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS regulations for fishing for trout, perch, and tench, and for netting trout, in that part of the Provincial District of Canterbury to the north of the Rakaia River, and the waters thereof, were made by Orders in Council dated the nineteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 51, of the twenty-fifth day of the same month:

And whereas it is desirable that such regulations should apply to the Counties of Amuri, Cheviot, and Kaikoura, and the whole of the waters of the Clarence River:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884,” and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that the regulations for fishing for trout, perch, and tench, and for netting trout, made by the said recited Orders in Council of the nineteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, shall extend and apply to the Counties of Amuri, Cheviot, and Kaikoura, and the waters thereof, and also to all the waters of the Clarence River which are included in the County of Marlborough, in the same manner in all respects as if such counties and waters had been wholly included in the district for which such regulations were originally made by the said recited Orders in Council; and His Excellency the Governor doth, with the like advice and consent, order and declare that such regulations shall supersede all regulations in the said counties and waters at variance therewith.
