HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section 41 of “The Harbours Act, 1878,” to appoint

WILLIAM MOLONEY

to be a Member of the Wairoa Harbour Board, the ratepayers of the Waikaremoana Riding of the county having, on the second Monday in the month of February last, only elected one member of the Board instead of two, as required by subsection (3) of section 2 of “The Wairoa Harbour Board Act, 1878.”
