NOTICE is hereby given that the Sanctuary Star of Canterbury of the Ancient Order of Shepherds, Register No. 173, held at Christchurch, is dissolved by instrument registered at this office the 25th day of June, 1891, unless, within three months from the date of the Gazette in which the advertisement appears, proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in, or having any claim on, the funds of the society to set aside such dissolution, and the same is set aside accordingly.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and its amendments, and “The Building Societies Act, 1880,” and its amendments; and in the matter of the Wanganui Equitable Land, Building, and Investment Society, Permanent.
BY an order made by His Honour C. C. Kettle, Esq., in the above matter, dated the 17th day of June, 1891, on the petition of Thomas Bamber, a member of the above-named society, it was ordered that the said society be wound up under supervision of the Court, and that the said Thomas Bamber be the Official Liquidator of the said society; and the Court thereby sanctioned the appointment of the undersigned as solicitors to the said Liquidator, and ordered that the said Liquidator should give security, and that all moneys received by him should be paid into the Bank of New South Wales, at Wanganui, to the credit of the joint account of the said Liquidator and the Clerk of the Court, and that the costs of the petitioner be taxed by the Clerk of the Court.

NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of section 202 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” a General Meeting of the above company will be held at the company’s registered office, Burnett Street, Ashburton, on Monday, the 31st day of August, 1891, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account made up by the Liquidator, showing the manner in which the winding-up of the affairs of the company has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, laid before them, and hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.
