IN THE MATTER OF THE ISLAND BAY PARK COMPANY (LIMITED), IN LIQUIDATION.

At an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company, duly convened and held at the company’s office, 10, Lambton Quay, on the 19th day of May, 1891, the following special resolutions were duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company, also duly convened and held at the same place on the 4th day of June, 1891, the following special resolutions were duly confirmed.

Copy of Special Resolutions.

  1. That the company be wound up voluntarily.
  2. That the Directors be appointed the Liquidators of the company.
  3. That the unexpended balance remaining in the Liquidators’ hands, after payment of all winding-up charges and other expenses, be equally divided among the Liquidators as remuneration for their services as Directors and Liquidators.
  4. That the Liquidators be authorised and instructed to transfer and assign the freeholds and leaseholds of the company to Messrs. Joseph and Wright, and to pay them the sum of £100 in consideration of their executing a valid release of all the company’s liabilities subsisting or accruing to them.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION.

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and the several Acts amending the same, and in the matter of the Peninsula and Akaroa Steam Navigation Company (Limited).

Notice is hereby given that an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders in the above company was held at the company’s office, Manchester Street, in the City of Christchurch, on Thursday, the 14th day of May, 1891, when the following special resolution was passed: “That this company be wound up voluntarily.”

The above resolution was confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the above company held at the said office, on Friday, the 29th day of May, 1891. And notice is hereby further given that at the said last-mentioned meeting, and after the said resolution had been duly passed and confirmed, a resolution was duly proposed and carried that I, the undersigned Joseph James Kinsey, of the City of Christchurch aforesaid, Shipping Agent, should be appointed Liquidator of the said company, which appointment I have accepted.

Dated at Christchurch, this 4th day of June, 1891.

Referring to the above, all persons having any claim against the said company are requested to forward particulars thereof to me, and all persons indebted to or holding any property belonging to the company are requested to pay or account for the same to me, the said Joseph James Kinsey, at the office of Kinsey and Co., Shipping Agents, 176, Hereford Street, Christchurch.
