SPECIAL ORDER.
THAT the old boundary-line between Tawataia and Te Hoe Wards be altered, and the following substituted: Starting at the north-east corner of Section 101, Block XII., Manga-one, and following the boundary-line of Section 206 until it reaches Karamana's Reserve; and from thence following the boundary-line between Karamana's Reserve and Section 206; and from thence following the boundary-line between Section 215 and Sections 207, 208, and 209; from thence in a line north-west, following the boundary-line of Section 215; from thence following the boundary-line between Section 215, Block XII., Mangaone, and Section 2, Block VIII., Manga-one; from thence to the north-west corner of Section 2; from thence following the boundary-line between Sections 2 and 3 to the south-west corner of Section 3; and from thence in a northerly direction to the north-east corner of the said Section 3, Block VIII., Mangaone; from thence following the boundary-line between Sections 3 and 174 until it reaches the south-west corner of Section 174; from thence in a north-westerly direction along the boundary of Sections 174 and 175 until it reaches the boundary of the road district.

THE following special order, made by the Avon Road Board, is published in accordance with "The Road Boards Act, 1882."

SPECIAL ORDER, making a Special Annual-recurring Rate within the Brighton District, Part of New Brighton Ward.
RESOLVED, That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and other charges upon a special loan of Β£4,000 which the Board of the Avon Road District has been duly authorised by the ratepayers in the Brighton District of the Avon Road District, as described in the Schedule hereunder written, to raise for the formation of the roads and streets together with part of the esplanade in the said district, in accordance with the provisions of "The Rating Act, 1882," and the Acts amending the same, doth hereby make a special annual-recurring rate of twenty-one sixteenths of a penny in the pound sterling upon the values of the rateable property within the said Brighton District (save and except Crown lands and Native lands), as appearing upon the valuation-roll for the time being in force; and doth direct that such rate shall be payable by half-yearly instalments on the first days of February and August in each year during the currency of the said loan, namely, twenty-six years.
