STATUTORY declaration of the destruction by fire of certificate of title for Section 60, Wairaki District, having been made by NORMAN GUTHRIE CHALMERS, and application made for the issue of a provisional certificate for the same, I hereby give notice that it is my intention to issue such certificate, unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days from the gazetting of this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolutions were passed at an adjourned extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the Midas Gold-mining Company (Limited), of which due notice was given, held at the office of the company on the 8th day of April, 1891, and confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, of which due notice was given, and held at the same place on the 24th day of April, 1891, viz.:—
"That the Midas Gold-mining Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, and that a Liquidator be appointed."
"That Mr. Benjamin Gilmer be Liquidator."

Jackson and Russell, Shortland Street, Auckland, on Friday, the 24th day of July, 1891, at the hour of 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having the accounts, showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, laid before them, and hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator.
