THE under-mentioned Crown lands will be offered for sale by auction, at the Crown Lands Office, Dunedin, on Friday, the 29th May, 1891, at 11.30 a.m. :—

PASTORAL LICENSES (under Part VI. of “The Land Act, 1885”).

Runs 239, 338B, and 338C (grouped), Vincent County, about 43,970 acres; term, fourteen years. Upset rental, £30 per annum.

Run 24A, Clutha County, about 890 acres; term, ten years. Upset rental, £11 2s. 6d. per annum.

Maniototo District: Section 10, Block XV., about 420 acres; term, five years. Upset rental, £21 per annum.

Possession of the foregoing runs will be given on day of sale.

Purchasers will be required to pay the first half-year’s rent from day of sale, and £1 1s. license-fee, on fall of hammer.

Terms of Payment: For rural lands, one twenty-eighth of the total price and £1 1s. (license-fee) to be paid on fall of hammer; balance in equal half-yearly payments extending over fourteen years. For suburban lands, one-tenth of total price and £1 1s. (license-fee) to be paid on fall of hammer; balance in equal half-yearly payments extending over five years. Purchasers must deposit the statutory declaration required by section 113 of “The Land Act, 1885,” and pay valuation for improvements (if any) at time of sale.
