WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF TAKING LANDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Wanganui County Council propose executing a certain public work, to wit, the construction of a road through Sections Nos. 60, 61, 62, and 64, Wanganui District (left bank), and for the purposes of such public work to take, under the provisions of "The Public Works Act, 1882," and the amendments thereto, the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which said lands are owned by John Henry Nixon, Charles Smith, and John William Peake, as trustees under the will of John Nixon, deceased, and occupied by the said trustees and by John McGregor. And notice is hereby further given that a copy of the plan of the said road and of the lands so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the Wanganui County Council, situate at Taylorville, in the County of Wanganui, and is there open for inspection. And notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections thereto, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the said Wanganui County Council, at its said office at Taylorville, Wanganui.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land containing 9 acres 3 roods, more or less, being parts of Sections Nos. 60, 61, 62, and 64 on the plan of the Wanganui District (left bank), commencing in Section No. 60 aforesaid at a point 100 links from high-water mark in the Wanganui River, and running thence in a generally northerly and north-easterly direction through the said sections, and ending at the original No. 3 Line of Road near the north-east corner of Section No. 64 aforesaid, at a point 1160 links, more or less, along the said No. 3 Line of Road from the said north-east corner. The width of the strip of land being 100 links or thereabouts, and the length 971 chains, more or less.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned in the business of Sawmilling and Storekeeping, and carried on under the name of "Brownlee and Co.," has by mutual consent been dissolved as from the 30th June, 1890. The business will continue to be carried on by WILLIAM BROWNLEE, under the name of "Brownlee and Co.," who will receive and pay all moneys owing to and owing by the late firm.

NOTICE is hereby given that the surviving members of the Managing Committee of "The Taranaki Aid Fund" intend to present a petition to the General Assembly of New Zealand, at the ensuing session thereof, praying for leave to introduce a Bill enabling the above Committee to pay the sum of £1,667 19s. 9d. (being the amount which, on the 5th day of July, 1891, will be to the credit of the above fund at the Union Bank of Australia, Nelson) to three Trustees to be appointed for that purpose, upon trust to invest the above sum in public or Government securities, and to pay one-half the interest or income-moneys arising therefrom in equal shares to the Nelson Public Museum and Nelson Free Reading-room, and the other half thereof to the Nelson Aid Society. And notice is hereby further given that copies of the said Bill will be deposited at the office of the Examiner of Standing Orders at Wellington, at or within fourteen days after the beginning of the session.
