Declaring the Pukearuhe and Mokau Road, in Clifton County, to be a County Road.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eleventh day of February, 1891.

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order that the road in the Clifton County known as the Pukearuhe to Mokau Road, described in the Schedule below, shall, on and after the date above mentioned, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the County of Clifton, in the Provincial District of Taranaki, being the road known as Pukearuhe-Mokau Road; commencing at the south-western boundary of Pukearuhe Township, and proceeding in a north-easterly direction to the Mokau River; including the ferry across the Mokau River: as the said road is delineated on the plan marked S.G. 10738, deposited in the General Survey Office, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon marked in red.

Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of February, 1891.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor in Council by Rawinia te Munu (and as Trustee for Te Mutu), the Native owner of the land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of such land contained in the Land Transfer certificate, bearing date the first day of December, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, described in the first column of the said Schedule, may be removed: And whereas inquiry has been duly made by the Native Land Court in respect of the subject-matter of the said application, and the said Court has reported thereon to His Excellency the Governor: And whereas it appears expedient to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by “The Native Land Act, 1888,” and acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all restrictions imposed by the said Land Transfer certificate on the alienation of the said lands are hereby removed.

Fixing Sitting of Court of Appeal.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of February, 1891.

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Court of Appeal Act, 1882,” it is enacted that the Court shall hold its sittings at such times and places as shall from time to time be fixed by the Governor in Council, and proclaimed in the Government Gazette twenty-one days at least before the times so fixed respectively:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby fix that a sitting of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand shall be held within the Supreme Courthouse, in the City of Wellington, upon Monday, the twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

Prescribing a Close Season for Fish in the Teremakau River and Wylde’s Creek.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of February, 1891.
Present:
THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by “The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884” (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, among other things, enacted that the Governor in Council may from time to time make, alter, and revoke regulations (which shall have force and effect only in any waters or places specified therein) for prescribing, among other things, a close season for fish:
And whereas it is expedient to make the regulations hereinafter set forth with respect to fish inhabiting or found in the waters of the Teremakau River and Wylde’s Creek, in the Counties of Grey and Westland:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby make the regulations set forth in the Schedule hereto; and with the like advice and consent doth order that such regulations shall take effect on and after the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall have force and effect in the Teremakau River and Wylde’s Creek and the immediate tributaries thereof only.
SCHEDULE.
REGULATIONS.

THE part of the month of March from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette until the end of the said month, and the months of April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-one, are hereby prescribed a close season for fish.

Any person committing a breach of the above regulation shall be liable to a penalty of not less than £1 and not exceeding £50.

Every penalty imposed by these regulations may be recovered in a summary manner before any two or more Justices of the Peace.
