Declaring that Education Reserves in Otago and Southland
shall be sold.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the two hundred and fortieth section
of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power and
authority enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said
colony, and at the request of the School Commissioners of
the Otago Provincial District, in whom the land herein
described is vested, doth hereby declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto, which has been reserved
for educational purposes, shall be sold, subject to the pro-
visions of "The Land Act, 1885," and the Land Act Amend-
ment Acts, 1887 and 1888.

Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, of
Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley,
of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron
Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and
of West Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron
Cranley of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George; Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-
Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal
of the said Colony, at the Government House,
at Wellington, this eleventh day of February, in
the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred
and ninety-one.

Resuming Possession of Land in Hawke's Bay

ONSLOW, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the one hundred and fifty-eighth
section of "The Land Act, 1885," I, William Hillier, Earl
of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby resume possession of the land described in the Sche-
dule hereto, for road purposes.
SCHEDULE.
All that parcel of land situated in the Hawke's Bay Land
District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres 3 roods 14
perches, being a part of Section No. 1, Block VIII., Weber
Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by re-
main ing part of Section No. 1 aforesaid, 1232ยท4 links;
towards the south and west by main road (Wainui-Dane-
virke), 1527ยท5 links, to the commencing-point: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on
Map No. 678, deposited in the Survey Office, Napier.
