NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of “The Land Transfer Act, 1885,” unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same on or before the 2nd day of
February, 1891.

THE FIVE-MILE BEACH DREDGING COMPANY
(LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of the shareholders of the above-named
company, held in the Board-room of the Union Insurance
Company, on the 8th day of December, 1890, the following
resolution was passed: “That the Five-mile Beach Dredging
Company (Limited) be wound up voluntarily, under ‘The
Companies Act, 1882;’ and that Mr. F. E. Wright be ap-
pointed Liquidator.”
The foregoing resolution was confirmed at a meeting of the
shareholders of the company, held on Monday, the 22nd
day of December, 1890, and at which Mr. Wright was again
appointed Liquidator.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
NORTHERN DISTRICT.
In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the
matter of the South British Fire and Marine Insurance
Company of New Zealand.
NOTICE is hereby given that the order of the Supreme
Court of New Zealand, at Auckland, dated the 16th
day of December instant, confirming the reduction of the
capital of the above-named company from £2,000,000 to
£1,900,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing,
with respect to the capital of the company as altered, the
several particulars required by the above statute, were regis-
tered by the Registrar of Joint-stock Companies at Auckland
aforesaid, on the 16th day of December instant. And further
take notice that the said minute is in the words and figures
following: “The capital of the South British Fire and
Marine Insurance Company of New Zealand is £1,900,000,
divided into 100,000 shares of £19 each. At the time of the
registration of this minute 64,628 of the said shares are
deemed to have £1 per share paid up thereon. On the
remaining 35,372 shares (which have not yet been issued)
no sum per share has been or is to be deemed to have been
paid up.”

In the matter of “The Companies Act, 1882,” and in the
matter of the Bay of Islands Coal Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for confirming
a special resolution reducing the capital of the above
company from £40,000 to £4,000 was, on the 19th day of
December, 1890, presented unto the Supreme Court of New
Zealand, Northern Judicial District, and the said Supreme
Court did order that such special resolution be confirmed ;
and the said order and the minute thereto have been reg-
istered at the office of the Registrar of Joint-stock Companies
at Auckland; and the said Court did further order that the
addition of the words “and reduced ” to the name of the
company be dispensed with altogether. And further take
notice that the said minute is in the words and figures
following: “Minute approved by the Court: The capital o.
the company, limited, is £4,000, divided into 4,000 shares of
£1 each. At the time of the registration of this minute
3,000 of the said shares are issued and fully paid up, and the
remaining 1,000 shares have never been issued.”
