I, FREDERICK GEORGE MORGAN, Registrar, at Invercargill, of the Supreme Court, for the District of Otago and Southland, do hereby notify that an affidavit, a copy of which is hereunder given, by Henry Wilson, Chairman of the Hokonui Coal-mining Company (Limited), has been lodged in the Resident Magistrate’s Court at Invercargill, and forwarded to me; and that, unless notice of objection be lodged with me within sixty days of this date, I shall proceed to declare the said company to be dissolved, in manner provided by “The Companies Act, 1882.”

THE AUCKLAND ROLLER-MILLS COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that, in pursuance of sections 202 and 216 of “The Companies Act, 1882,” a General Meeting of the members of the above company will be held at the office of the company, Fort Street, Auckland, on Friday, the 13th day of January, 1891, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property of the company disposed of, and of hearing any explanation that may be given by the Liquidator; and also of determining, by extraordinary resolution, the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company, and of the Liquidator thereof, shall be disposed of.

NOTICE of the intention of JAMES WHITELAW, of Kamo, near Whangarei, in the Provincial District of Auckland, Farmer, to apply for an order to authorise him to construct a Tramway along the route mentioned in the following advertisement:—
Notice is hereby given that, at the expiration of thirty days from the publication hereof, application is intended to be made to His Excellency the Governor in Council for an order empowering James Whitelaw, of Kamo, near Whangarei, Farmer, to construct and use a Tramway along and over the following route, namely, along the Great North Road from the Kamo Railway Coal-station to the neighbourhood of the coalfields at Hikurangi, a distance of about seven miles; with power to make convenient sidings, passing-places, and crossings; to erect stationary engines on the disused roads, and double lines of rails thereon. And notice is hereby further given that the said Tramway is intended to be used for the carriage of coal and other traffic; and that a copy of this advertisement, and a proper plan of the proposed works, and all other documents required to be deposited under the provisions of “The Tramway Act, 1872,” will, on or before the 22nd day of November, 1890, be deposited for public inspection in the office in the City of Auckland of the Registrar of the Supreme Court, and also in the office of the Whangarei County Council at Whangarei, and also in the office of the Governor in the City of Wellington; and that printed copies of the draft order when deposited pursuant to subsection (3) of the Third Schedule to “The Tramways Act, 1872,” and of the order, when made, can be obtained at my office, in the Town District of Kamo, in the County of Whangarei.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general meeting of the shareholders of the Bruce Dairy and Bacon-curing Company (Limited), duly convened and held at the Council Chambers, Milton, on Wednesday, the 15th day of October, 1890, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, also duly convened and held at the said Council Chambers, on Friday, the 31st day of October, 1890, the following special resolution was passed and confirmed, namely: “That the said company be wound up voluntarily; and that Frank Duthie, of Milton, aforesaid, Clerk, be appointed Liquidator of the said company.”
