NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR THE CONSTRUC-
TION OF ROADS IN THE MAUNGARU SURVEY DISTRICT
AND IN THE PARISH OF ARAPOHUE, IN THE COUNTY OF
HOBSON, IN THE PROVINCIAL DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.

N OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed by the Hob-
son County Council, under the provisions of "The
Public Works Act, 1882," and the amendments thereto, to
execute certain public works, to wit, the construction of
roads in the Survey District of Maungaru and the Parish of
Arapohue, County of Hobson; and for the purposes of such
public works the lands described in the Schedule hereunder
are required to be taken. And notice is further given that
the plans of the said roads and of the lands required to be
taken are deposited at the Council Chambers, Aratapu, and
the Post-office, Dargaville, and are there open for inspection.
And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public works or by the taking of the
said lands shall, if they have any well-grounded objections
to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of
such lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such
writing, within forty days from the first publication of this
notice, to the Chairman of the Hobson County Council, Ara-
tapu.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre
1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being portion of Kohekohe
No. 1 Block (409), situate in Block IX., Maungaru Survey
District, in the Provincial District of Auckland; as more
particularly delineated on plan marked 5873, and thereon
coloured red.
All that parcel of land containing by admeasurement
3 acres 1 rood 15 5/8 perches, more or less, being portion of
Section 61, situate in the Parish of Arapohue, Provincial
District of Auckland; as more particularly delineated on
plan marked 5671, and thereon coloured red.
