IN the matter of a Lease No. 857, JOHN BROWN SOMERSET to JOHN LEITH, of Allotment 192, Parish of Whangamarino.—Notice of re-entry and determination of the above lease, on the ground of non-payment of rent, will be entered on the register, unless caveat forbidding the same be lodged at this office on or before the 30th day of November, 1890.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR A ROAD IN THE DISTRICT OF THE PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
In the matter of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the several Acts amending the same.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is required, under the provisions of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and the several Acts amending the same, to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto for a road.
And notice is further given that a plan of the said land is deposited and open for inspection at the Pahiatua County Council Office, Pahiatua.
And notice is hereby given that all persons affected by the taking of such lands shall, if they have any well-founded objection to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing, and send such notice in writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Chairman of the Pahiatua County Council, Pahiatua.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land, being part of Section 19, Block XII., Mangahao Survey District, containing 1 acre 2 roods 30 perches, more or less, which said parcel of land is delineated upon the plan deposited at the office of the Pahiatua County Council, and is thereon coloured pink.
All that parcel of land, being part of Section 23, Block XII., in the said survey district, containing 7 acres 3 roods 38 perches, more or less, which said parcel of land is delineated upon the said plan, and is thereon coloured blue.
All that parcel of land, being part of Section 24, Block XII., in the said survey district, containing 3 acres and 16 perches, more or less, which said parcel of land is delineated upon the said land, and is thereon coloured green.
All that parcel of land, being part of Section 31, Block XII., in the said survey district, containing 1 acre and 11 perches, more or less, which said parcel of land is delineated upon the said plan, and is thereon coloured yellow.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership formerly existing between the late WILLIAM TEAT and WILLIAM ASHWOOD FRIAR, at Gisborne, in the District of Poverty Bay, under the style or firm of “Teat and Friar,” as Storekeepers, has been determined as from the 22nd day of August, 1888. All accounts owing to and by the late firm will be respectively received and paid by the undersigned, William Ashwood Friar, who will continue to carry on the business under the style of “Teat and Friar.”
