Lands withdrawn from State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the lands specified in the first column of
the Schedule hereto are State forests and forest
reserves respectively, under the control of the Commissioner
of State Forests appointed under "The New Zealand State
Forests Act, 1885" (hereinafter termed "the said Act"),
and the said lands are now no longer required for State-
forest purposes: And whereas plans showing the extent and
position of the said lands, and a statement of the reasons
why they are no longer required for State-forest purposes,
have been laid before both Houses of Parliament for a
period of thirty days, and no resolution has been passed by
either of such Houses objecting to the issue of this Proclama-
tion:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers con-
ferred by "The New Zealand State Forests Act Amendment
Act, 1888," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him
in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and con-
sent of the Executive Council of the said colony, doth
hereby revoke the several Proclamations and instruments
specified in the second column of the Schedule hereto, as
from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand
Gazette; and doth hereby proclaim and declare that from
and after such date the several parcels of land described in
the first column of the Schedule hereto shall be no longer
subject to the provisions of the said Act.

All that piece or parcel of land situated
in Blocks X. and XIV., Hamilton Survey
District, Provincial District of Auck-
land, called or known as Lot No. 330,
Parish of Ngaroto, and containing by
admeasurement 118 acres, more or less.
Bounded generally towards the north-
east by Lot No. 329, 1000 and 2280
links; towards the east by Lots Nos.
328 and 326, 1140 links; towards the
south generally by Lot No. 332, 1425
and 240 links, by a lake, and by Lot
No. 331, 110 links; towards the west by
a public road, 3598 links; and towards
the north-west by a public road, 1854
links, to the point of commencement: be
all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

vey District, containing by admeasure-
ment 1,650 acres, more or less, and
being portion of the Puhipuhi Forest
Reserve. Bounded towards the west
generally by the Waiotu River; towards
the south-east by Puhipuhi No. 4 Block
to its north-western corner; thence
towards the east by a line running due
north, 146 chains; thence towards the
south by a line running due east, 17
chains; thence again towards the east
by a line running due north to the Waio-
nepu; and thence towards the north by
that stream to its confluence with the
Waiotu aforesaid.

of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand Cross of
the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George; Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House, at Wel-
ington, this ninth day of September, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
ninety.
