Sale of Allotments, Town of Stratford, Taranaki Land District.

IT is hereby notified that the under-mentioned allotments
of Crown land in the Town of Stratford will be offered
for sale at this office by public auction, for cash, at noon, on
Saturday, the 13th September, 1890.
Schedules and plans and all information may be obtained
at this office.

Sale of Second-class Land, Taranaki Land District.

New Plymouth, 12th August, 1890.

7582 ACRES of second-class land, in 32 sections of
from 160 to 521 acres each, in the Cape and
Opunake Survey Districts, will be open for selection on the
10th September next,
This block is situated about six miles eastward of the South
Road, and is accessible by the Newell, Kahui, and Ngāriki
Roads. The nearest township is Rahotu, thirty miles south
of New Plymouth, and ten miles north of Opunake.
Plans, schedules of prices, forms of application, &c., may
be obtained at this office, and at the Land Office, Hawera.

Pastoral Lands, Westland, open for Sale on Application.

IN accordance with section 173 of "The Land Act, 1885,"
I hereby give notice that the under-mentioned runs
have been submitted to auction and not sold, and will be
open for sale on application, at the upset rental, after the
21st September next:—
Runs Nos. 34, Kawhaka, 9,500 acres; 46, Turnbull, 13,000
acres; 51, Wataroa, 20,000 acres; 53, Matakītaki Range,
13,000 acres (term, twenty-one years); 62, Diedrich's Range,
8,500 acres; 65, Blue River, 15,000 acres; 66, Jackson's
River, 12,000 acres; 68, Stafford River, 10,000 acres; 85,
Mount Sale Range, 8,000 acres; 86, Mount Reeves Range,
11,000 acres; 88, Meta Range, 10,000 acres. All, with the
exception noted, for the term of ten years, and at the annual
rental of £1 per 1,000 acres.

Rural Lands for Sale by Public Auction.

Coromandel County.

Harataunga Survey District.
Block III.

Description of Land: Section 2, broken forest land, con-
taining a quantity of kauri; 4, broken forest land, contain-
ing a quantity of kauri; situated at Cabbage Bay.

Manukau County.

Parish of Tuakau.

Description of Land: All the above are rich swamp sec-
tions, covered with flax, raupo, manuka, &c. Sections 109
and 110 have a few young kahikatea trees upon them. With
the exception of Section 105, all the sections front the
Waikato River, and are situated from two and a half to five
miles from Tuakau Railway-station.

Rodney County.

Pakiri Survey District.
Block IX.

Description of Land: Section 1, all heavy forest, contain-
ing 1,250,000ft. of kauri; 2, heavy forest, containing about
2,000,000ft. of kauri; 3, all heavy forest, containing about
1,250,000ft. of kauri; 5, heavy forest, containing about
300,000ft. of kauri; 11, and Section 5 of Block V., nearly all
burnt bush, containing about 250,000ft. of dead kauri.

Block V.

Description of Land: Section 4, about half open fern and
tea-tree land, remainder burnt bush, containing about
115,000ft. of dead kauri; 7, about two-thirds open fern and
tea-tree, remainder burnt bush, containing about 250,000ft.
of burnt kauri.

Waipa County.

Parish of Pukete.

Description of Land: Section 26A is good soil and level,
fronting the main road Hamilton to Ngaruawahia; 32 fronts
Waikato River, it is poor, gravelly, flat, open land.

Waitemata County.

Parish of Makarau.

Description of Land: Nearly all heavy forest; Section 180
contains about 250,000ft. of kauri, 181 about 250,000ft. of
kauri, 90 about 150,000ft. of kauri, 97 about 250,000ft. of
kauri. The kauri is very scattered throughout the sections.

Whangarei County.

Parish of Otakaia rangi.

Description of Land: Section 16, all forest, containing 172
green and 6 dead kauri trees, about 350,000ft. of timber;
17, about 20 acres fern and scrub, remainder forest, contain-
ing 98 green and 1 dead kauri trees, about 200,000ft. of
timber.

Plans showing the positions of sections may be seen, and
further information obtained, on application at the Crown
Lands Office, Custom Street, Auckland.

Terms of Sale: One-fifth to be deposited at close of sale;
balance, together with Crown-grant fee (usually £1), within
thirty days.
