Regulations reducing Quorum, &c., North of Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.
ONSLLOW, Governor.
WHEREAS by regulations under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, dated the fourth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the seventh day of the same month, it is, among other things, provided that four members shall form a quorum at meetings of the North of Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board:
And whereas it has been found that the above quorum is too large, and it appears expedient to make the regulations hereinafter set forth:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers vested in him by section ninety-nine of “The Hospital and Charitable Institutions Act, 1885,” and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, doth hereby revoke that part of the above-recited regulations fixing the quorum of the said Board at four, and for the conduct of the business of such Board doth hereby make and prescribe the regulations hereinafter set forth, namely:—
REGULATIONS.

At all meetings of the North of Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board three members shall form a quorum.

In the absence of the Chairman of the said Board from any meeting thereof, the members of the Board present may elect any one of their number to be Chairman of such meeting.

In the event of there not being a quorum at any meeting of the said Board, the members present thereat may adjourn such meeting to such convenient time as they may think fit.

to act as French Vice-Consul at Wellington, received Her Majesty’s signature on the 8th May, 1890; and that the notification of Her Majesty’s approval of this appointment appeared in the London Gazette of the 9th May, 1890.
