A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by “The Marriage Act, 1880,” I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby alter the marriage district of Auckland as constituted by a Proclamation issued on the thirteenth day of May ultimo, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fifteenth day of May ultimo, and do hereby proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said district shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto, in lieu of those so declared as aforesaid.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND DISTRICT.
Bounded towards the north-east generally by the sea, from the Okura River to the north-eastern boundary of the Wairoa Parish; towards the south-east generally by that parish, Sections Nos. 68, 67, 52, 56, 51, and 27, Wairoa Parish aforesaid, Section No. 136, Pakuranga Parish, Section No. 64, Papakura Parish, Sections Nos. 96 and 95, Manurewa Parish, and by Papakura Parish aforesaid to the Manukau Harbour; towards the south-west and again towards the south-west generally by the waters of the Manukau Harbour; again towards the south-west by the sea; and towards the north-west by the north-western boundary-line of the Taupaki Block and a right line in a north-easterly direction to and by the Parish of Ararimu, and the southern and eastern boundary-lines of the Pukeatua Block, the southern boundary-line of Dacre’s Claim to the Okura River, and by that river to the place of commencement: including Waiheke, Ponui, and adjacent islands, and also the Little Barrier Island.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop; Viscount Cranley, of Cranley in the County of Surrey; Baron Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and of West Clandon in the County of Surrey; Baron Cranley, of Imbercourt; Baronet; Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this eleventh day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
I N exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by “The Education Act, 1877,” the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the colony, doth make the regulation hereto annexed, approving of a class-book for public schools; and, with the like advice and consent, doth prescribe that this order shall take effect from the date hereof.
REGULATION.
The book entitled “School History of New Zealand,” by F. J. Moss, M.H.R. (H. Brett, Auckland), may be used in any public school as if it had been described and included in the list of works set forth in the Order in Council dated the 5th day of July, 1887.
