situate in the Parish of Omaru, and containing approxi-
mately 2,500 acres. Bounded towards the east by the
Mangonui River; towards the south-east by a line; towards
the south-west by a public road; and towards the north-west
by a public road, which forms part of the south-eastern
boundary of the Parish of Okahu to the point of commence-
ment.
Description of Land: Mostly open land, average quality
of soil; that fronting the Mangonui River is alluvial soil.

WHANGAREI COUNTY.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parish of Hikurangi, and containing approxi-
mately 2,600 acres. Bounded towards the north-east gene-
rally by Section No. 84 of the Parish of Hikurangi, by a
public road, and by Sections Nos. 24, 74, and 77 of the said
parish; towards the south-east generally by Sections Nos.
73, 72, 8, and 10 of the said parish, and by a stream;
towards the west generally by the Wairua River; and
towards the north-west generally by the Whakapara River
to the point of commencement.
Description of Land: Open and swamp land, liable to
flood. Cash price, 10s. per acre.
MANGONUI COUNTY.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parish of Mangonui, and containing approxi-
mately 5,800 acres. Bounded towards the north generally
by Doubtless Bay, by Section No. 51 of the Parish of
Mangonui, by a public road, by Section No. 129 of the same
parish, and again by a public road; towards the east gene-
rally by a public road, by Sections Nos. 7 and 6 of the sub-
urbs of Mangonui, by Sections Nos. 109, 108, and 107 of the
Parish of Mangonui aforesaid, by a road reserve, by the
Pukenui, Aputerewa, and Aputerewa No. 1 Blocks, and by
unsurveyed Native land; towards the south-east by Sections
Nos. 4, 3, and 5 of the Parish of Waitarau; towards the
south-west generally by Sections Nos. 24, 20, 19, 21, and 22
of the Parish of Mangonui aforesaid, by a public road, and
by Section No. 23 of the same parish; and towards the west
generally by a public road, by the Waipuna A and Ika-
tiritiri Blocks, by land granted to James Berghan (No. 129,
O.L.C.), and by the Te Kuihi Block to the point of com-
mencement: save and except from the area hereinbefore
described Sections Nos. 100, 101, 102, 103, 104, and 105 of
the Parish of Mangonui aforesaid.
Description of Land: All open land, of generally inferior
quality, close to Mongonui Township, and extending to sea-
coast. Cash price, 10s. per acre.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the third section of "The Land
Act Amendment Act, 1887" (hereinafter termed "the said
Act"), I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of
the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is
provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection,
after the lapse of a period of forty-five days from the date of
the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon
the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price
per acre respectively set opposite such land in the said
Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
UNSURVEYED LAND, AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Whangarei County.
ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parish of Waipu, and containing approximately
43 acres. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 82 of
the Parish of Waipu; towards the north-east by the pro-
duction in a southerly direction of the north-eastern boun-
dary of the last-named section; towards the south-east by
Section 149 of the Parish of Waipu aforesaid; and towards
the south-west by the Popuenui River to the point of com-
mencement.
Level land, covered with tea-tree. Cash price, Β£1 per
acre.
All that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District,
situate in the Parishes of Waipu and Ruakaka, and contain-
ing approximately 2,875 acres. Bounded towards the east
generally by Bream Bay; towards the south-west generally
by the Waipu River, by Sections 90 and 89 of the Parish of
Waipu, again by the Waipu River, by Section 199 of the
said parish, again by the Waipu River, by Section 200 of the
said parish, by a public road, and by Sections 201 and 149 of
the said parish; towards the west generally by a right line

190 acres. Bounded towards the north-east by Sections 10

duction of the south-western boundary of Section 277, and
by part of the eastern boundary of Block I., Waipu Survey

rangi, by a public road, and by Sections 192, 243, 244, 219,
and 194 of the Parish of Waipu aforesaid to the point of
commencement.
