Land taken for a Further Portion of Edendale-Toitois Branch of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway: Glenham Section.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for a further portion of the Edendale-Toitois Branch of the Waitaki-Bluff Railway, namely, Glenham Section:
And whereas all conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land in the manner hereby provided have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section one hundred and thirty of “The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is taken for the further portion of the said line of railway hereinbefore specified.

All in the Provincial District of Otago; as the said parcels of land are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 15678, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red, blue, and neutral tint.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General in Her Majesty’s Army, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Companion of the Most Honour-
able Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, this fourth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-nine.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the sixth section of “The Land Act, 1885,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the Proclamations of the nineteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-eight, so far as it relates to the sections mentioned in the Schedule hereto, shall be and the same is hereby revoked; and do proclaim and declare that the said sections are hereby withdrawn from the village-settlement system.
