I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Albion Gold-dredging Company (Limited), as a
Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1886."
- The name of the company is to be the Albion Gold-
dredging Company. - The place of intended operations is at South Beach,
near Greymouth. - The registered office of the company will be situated
in Richmond Quay, Greymouth. - The nominal capital of the company is twelve thousand
pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each. - The number of shares subscribed for is sixteen thou-
sand, being not less than two-thirds of the entire number of
shares in the company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is nil.
- The name of the Manager is Edmund Alexander
Wickes. - The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-

THE WELLINGTON MEAT-PRESERVING AND
REFRIGERATING COMPANY (LIMITED).
N OTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of shareholders in this company, held in the
Chamber of Commerce, Wellington, on Wednesday, the
2nd October, 1889, the following resolutions were passed:--
- "That it is expedient to effect an amalgamation of
this company with the Wellington Meat Export Company
(Limited)." - "That for that purpose it is desirable that this com-
pany be wound up voluntarily." - "That this company be wound up voluntarily under the
provisions of 'The Companies Act, 1882,' and the Acts
amending the same." - "That Charles B. Izard, of Wellington, be and he is
hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such
winding-up." - "That the Liquidator be and he is hereby authorised
to consent to the registration of a new company, to be
named 'The Wellington Meat Export Company (Limited),'
with a memorandum and articles of association which have
been prepared with the approval of the directors of this
company." - "That the draft agreement produced and read to this
meeting, and expressed to be made between the Liquidator of
the present Wellington Meat Export Company (Limited) of
the first part, the Wellington Meat Export Company
(Limited) of the second part, the Liquidator of the Welling-
ton Meat-preserving and Refrigerating Company (Limited)
of the third part, the Wellington Meat-preserving and Re-
frigerating Company (Limited) of the fourth part, and the
new Wellington Meat Export Company (Limited) of the fifth
part, be and the same is hereby approved; and that the
Liquidator of this company be and he is hereby directed to
enter into an agreement on behalf of this company in terms
of the said draft, and to carry the same into effect."
And that at an extraordinary general meeting of the
shareholders, held on Thursday, the 24th October, 1889, the
said resolutions were duly confirmed.
