Proclaiming the Taking and Laying-off of a Road over
Land in the Wellington Provincial District.

ONSLOW, Governor.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of all powers and authorities
enabling me in this behalf, I, William Hillier, Earl
of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby proclaim that the road described in the Schedule
hereto has been duly taken and laid off through the land
specified under warrant of the date given in the said
Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that piece of land in the Mangaone Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 2 acres and 19 perches, more
or less, being a road, 100 links wide, the south-western side
of which commences at a point on the western boundary-line
of Section No. 20, Block XV., 1511 links from its south-
western corner; and proceeds thence in a south-easterly
direction to a point on the south boundary-line of the said
section and distant 1344 links from its south-west corner: as
the same is more particularly delineated on plan marked
Survey Office 4341-24, deposited in the office of the Chief
Surveyor, Wellington.

Date of warrant, 28th September, 1888.

of Cranley in the. County of Surrey; Baron
Onslow, of Onslow in the County of Salop, and

Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George; Governor
and Commander-in-Chief in and over Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its De-
pendencies, and Vice Admiral of the same;
and issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-fifth day of September, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
nine.

Wanganui Harbour Board Endowment Lands set apart on
Deferred Payments.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section four of "The Wanganui Harbour
Endowment and Borrowing Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Land Board may from time to time deal with and
dispose of the lands described in the First Schedule to that
Act in like manner as other waste lands of the Crown within
the district may be sold, dealt with, or disposed of:

And whereas by the one hundred and fourth section of
"The Land Act, 1885," it is enacted that the Governor, by
Proclamation in the Gazette, may from time to time set
apart out of any suburban or rural lands such blocks or allot-
ments of land as he shall think fit, and set the same aside
for sale on deferred payments; and in such Proclamation
may fix a day on which the land shall be open for applica-
tion; and that he may also in like manner set apart for sale
on deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may be
recommended by any Land Board, and may also from time
to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:

And whereas the Land Board of Wellington has passed a
resolution recommending that the land described in the
Schedule hereto annexed should be set apart for sale on
deferred payments:

And whereas it is expedient to give effect to the aforesaid
recommendation, and to set apart the said land accordingly:

Now, therefore, I, William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the
Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the
above-named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare that the
land described in the Schedule hereto is set apart for sale on
deferred payments; and that Wednesday, the twenty-seventh
day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
nine, shall be the day on which the said land shall be open
for application, at the Harbour Board Office, Wanganui, and
at the Land Office, Wellington, in allotments as surveyed and
marked on the selection map in the office of the Commis-
sioner of Crown Lands, Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the one hundred and ninety-seventh
section of "The Land Act, 1885," and of every other power
and authority enabling me in that behalf, I, William
Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that the land enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of
sections one hundred and ninety-eight to two hundred and
nineteen of Part VII. of "The Land Act, 1885," relating to
small grazing runs.
