Land Transfer Act Notices.

WHEREAS a declaration of the loss of certificate of
title to JOHN MCKINNON for Lot 29, on deposited
Plan 281, being part of Suburban Sections 67 and 68, Napier,
registered in Vol. xvii., folio 17, has been lodged, and applica-
tion made for a provisional certificate of title: Now, notice
is hereby given of my intention to issue such a provisional
certificate of title at the expiration of fourteen days after
the date of the Gazette containing this notice, unless caveat
be lodged forbidding the same.

NOTICE is hereby given that RICHARD HUNT, claiming
as Heir-at-law to MARY BYRNE, has made application
to be registered as Proprietor of an estate in fee-simple in that
parcel of land comprised in Register-book, Vol. iii., folio 131,
being Rural Sections Nos. 22, 23, and 24, District of Walling-
ford, containing 286 3/4 acres; and, further, that the applicant
will be so registered at the expiration of one month after the
date of the Gazette containing this notice, unless caveat in
the meantime be lodged forbidding the same.

Mining Notices.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to register
the Stewart Island Tin- and Gold-mining Company as
a Limited Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1886."

  1. The name of the company is to be the Stewart Island
    Tin- and Gold-mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of intended operations is at Pegasus, Stewart
    Island.
  3. The registered office of the company will be situated
    in Esk Street, Invercargill.
  4. The nominal capital of the company is twenty thousand
    pounds, in twenty thousand shares of one pound each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is fourteen thousand nine
    hundred and eighty-six, and the remaining five thousand and
    fourteen shares are deemed to be paid up to fifteen shillings
    each.
  7. The amount already paid up is three hundred and seven
    pounds thirteen shillings and seven pence.
  8. The name of the Manager is John James Wesney.
  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,
    are as follow:-
