TAUHOA ROAD DISTRICT.
IT is hereby notified that, under the provisions of "The
Public Works Act, 1882," and its amendments, the
Tauhoa Road Board intend to take land for roads, 66ft.
wide, as described in the attached Schedule. The works
proposed to be constructed are general road-works-clearing
and forming. Plans, duly certified, showing the proposed
lines of roads, lie open for inspection at the residence of Mr.
John Wilson, Hoteo North.
All persons affected by the said roads are hereby called
upon and required to set forth in writing any well-grounded
objections to the taking of such land or the execution of such
works, and to send such writing, within forty days from the
first publication of this notice, to the undersigned.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
WHEREAS we, the undersigned, JOSEPH BRADEN INNES,
of Hawera, in the Provincial District of Taranaki
and Colony of New Zealand, Newspaper Proprietor and
Printer, and JAMES CHARLES YORKE, of the Inaha, in the
County of Hawera and Colony of New Zealand, Journalist
and Farmer, certify that we have this day dissolved the
Special Partnership and all other Partnerships entered into
between us on the 15th day of September, 1885, under the
clauses relating to special partnership contained in "The
Mercantile Law Act, 1880," and declare the particulars
following to be true:--
- The style of the firm was "Innes and Company."
- The above-named James Charles Yorke was a Special
Partner, and did and now does reside at Inaha, above
mentioned; and the said Joseph Braden Innes was a General
Partner, and did and now does reside at the Lake Road,
Hawera, aforesaid. - The general nature of the business transacted under
the partnership was that of Newspaper Proprietors, and
Publishers, Printers, and Stationers. - The principal place at which such business has been
carried on was at the Star Office, High Street, in the Borough
of Hawera, aforesaid. - The partnership was to terminate on the 15th day of
September, 1892, but is dissolved as from the 16th day of
July instant.
As witness our hands, this 16th day of July, 1889.

VOLUNTARY LIQUIDATION.---NOTICE.
A MEETING of shareholders of the Edgar A. Ashcroft
and Company (Limited), in voluntary liquidation, will
be held on Thursday, the 26th September, 1889, at 8 p.m., in
the Chamber of Commerce, Lambton Quay, Wellington.
Business: To receive and adopt the final statement of
accounts of the Liquidators.

In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and of The
Richmond Hill Silver-mining Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that a petition for the winding-
up of the above-named company by the Supreme
Court was, on the nineteenth day of July, 1889, presented to
Mr. Justice Richmond, a Judge of the Supreme Court, by
the said company, and the said petition is directed to be
heard before a Judge of the said Court, at Wellington, on
Friday, the second day of August, 1889, at 10.30 a.m.; and
any creditor or contributory of the said company, desirous
to oppose the making of an order for the winding-up of the
said company under the above Act, should appear at the time
of hearing, by himself or his counsel, for that purpose; and
a copy of the said petition will be furnished to any creditor
or contributory of the said company, requiring the same, by
the undersigned, on payment of the regulated charge for the
same.

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of shareholders of the company, duly con-
vened and held at Cooper's Hotel, Waerenga-a-hika, on
Thursday, the 13th day of June, 1889, the following special
resolution, passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the
shareholders, held as above, on Thursday, the 23rd day of
May, 1889, was confirmed: "That the company be wound
up voluntarily, under 'The Companies Act, 1882;' and that
Mr. W. K. Chambers and Mr. Andrew Graham be appointed
Liquidators for such winding-up."
