Native Land Court Notices.

"Native Land Court Act, 1880." -District of Hawke's Bay.
-Notice of Time and Place for inspecting Plans, Kaira-
kau Block.

Native Land Court Office,
Wellington, 23rd July, 1889.

WHEREAS at a sitting of the Native Land Court, held
at Hastings, on the 9th day of May, 1884, an order
was made subdividing the aforesaid block of land:
Now notice is hereby given that the plans and survey of
one of these subdivisions, called Kairakau No. 1, will be
deposited for inspection at the Native Land Courthouse, at
Hastings.

Now, if any person is desirous of making objections to the
boundaries of the aforesaid subdivision of the said block, as
defined by the said plan, he must give notice thereof to the
Court, stating the grounds of his objection. All such ob-
jections will be heard and determined at a sitting of the
Court, to be held at Hastings, on the 11th day of August,
1889.

Sitting of the Native Land Court.

NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Native Land
Court will be held at Greytown, in the District of
Wairarapa, on the 18th day of September, 1889, for the
purpose of ascertaining what amount of compensation ought
to be paid to the Native owners of the land known as Section
60 of Block IX., Kopuaranga District, with respect to the
land taken under an Order in Council dated the 30th day of
October, 1888, and more particularly described in the
Schedule hereto, for the purpose of making a road in the
District of Masterton; and also for the purpose of ascertain-
ing who are the proper persons to receive such compensation,
and what land is affected by the said Order in Council.

eighty-one of "The Native Land Court Act, 1886,"

column, by the Native owners of the lands mentioned in the
third column, for a survey of such lands made by the said
Surveyor.

Native owners of the said lands with the whole or such
part of the said cost of survey so made for them as the
Court may deem fit.
