NOTICE is hereby given that the Registrar of Friendly
Societies has, pursuant to section 10 of "The
Friendly Societies Act, 1882," by writing under his hand
dated this 19th day of January, 1889, cancelled the registry
of the Star of Onehunga Lodge, Register No. 197 (8), held
at Onehunga, branch of the Protestant Alliance Friendly
Society of Australasia, on the ground that the said branch
has ceased to exist.

Kent, now in Nelson, New Zealand, Member of the
Royal College of Surgeons, England, and Licentiate of the
Royal College of Physicians, England, hereby give notice
that I have, this 19th day of January, deposited evidence of
my qualifications with the Registrar of the Nelson District;
and that I shall apply to be registered under the Medical
Practitioners Act of New Zealand on the 24th day of
February, 1889.

NOTICE is hereby given that, by an order made by His
Honour Mr. Justice Gillies in the above matter, dated
the 15th day of January, 1889, on the petition of the Bank
of New Zealand, a creditor of the said company, it was
ordered that the said Moanatairi Extended Gold-mining Com-
pany be wound up by the Court, under the provisions of
"The Companies Act, 1882."

1889, at 3 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of receiving state-
ment of accounts and report of the winding-up of the
company.

I, WALTER HISLOP, of Dunedin, in the Provincial District
of Otago and Colony of New Zealand, Manager of the
Perpetual Trustees Estate and Agency Company of New
Zealand (Limited), do solemnly and sincerely declare-

  1. That the liability of the members is limited.
  2. That the capital of the company is £125,000, divided
    into 25,000 shares of £5 each.
  3. That the number of shares issued is 21,669.
  4. That calls to the amount of £1 2s. 6d. per share have
    been made, under which the sum of £24,377 12s. 6d. has been
    received.
  5. That the amount of all moneys received on account of
    estates under administration during the last six months is
    £13,802 12s. 7d.
  6. That the amount of all moneys paid on account of
    estates under administration during the last six months is
    £13,699 14s. 10d.
  7. That the amount of the balance held to the credit of
    estates under administration is £336 2s. 1d.
  8. That the liabilities of the company on the first day of
    November last were: Debts owing to sundry persons by the
    company on simple contracts, £
  9. That the assets of the company on that day were: Bills
    of exchange and promissory notes, £53 10s.; cash in hand
    and at bankers, £1,784 3s. 2d.; other securities and moneys
    owing to the company, £11,355 10s. 10d.; other assets,
    £19,602 3s. 1d.
    And I make this solemn declaration conscientiously
    believing the same to be true, and by virtue of an Act of the
    General Assembly of New Zealand intituled "The Justices
    of the Peace Act, 1882."
