Removal of Restrictions on Alienation of Native Land.
ONSLOW, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this fourteenth
day of May, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Governor
in Council by Marangai Ahipani, the Native owner
of the land described in the second column of the Schedule
hereto, praying that the restrictions on the alienation of
such land contained in the certificate of title, bearing date
the twenty-sixth day of April, one thousand eight hundred
and eighty-nine, described in the first column of the said
Schedule, may be removed: And whereas it appears ex-
pedient to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
William Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all
restrictions imposed by the said certificate of title on the
alienation of the said land are hereby removed.

such land contained in the warrant, bearing date the
seventh day of May, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
nine, described in the first column of the said Schedule,
may be removed: And whereas it appears expedient to
grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Right Honourable
Willian Hillier, Earl of Onslow, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
conferred on him by "The Native Land Act, 1888," and
acting with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said colony, doth hereby order and declare that all

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this eighteenth
day of April, 1889.

THE HONOURABLE THE PREMIER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section five of "The Naval and Military
Settlers' and Volunteers' Land Act, 1888" (herein-
after termed "the said Act") it is enacted that, in case of
the death of any person found entitled to a certificate of
remission of money under the said Act, the Governor, by
Order in Council, may direct such certificate to be issued to
such person or persons as he shall think most equitably
entitled thereto: And whereas the several persons men-
tioned in the first column of the Schedule hereto were
respectively entitled to certificates of remission under the
said Act, and it appears expedient to make provision for such
cases:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the
Government of the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance
and exercise of the power and authority conferred by the
said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, doth hereby order
and direct that the certificate of remission to which each
deceased person mentioned in the first column of the
Schedule hereto was entitled under the said Act shall be
issued to the person or persons whose names are set oppo-
site the name of each such deceased person respectively in
the second column of the said Schedule.

Regulations for Fishing for Trout, &c., Waitaki and Wai-
mate Acclimatisation District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-first
day of May, 1889.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by "The Fisheries Conservation Act, 1884," His Excel-
lency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said colony, doth hereby make the following regulations
for the Waitaki and Waimate Acclimatisation District, which
comprises the Counties of Waitaki and Waimate, and the
Boroughs of Hampden, Oamaru, and Waimate, and the waters
thereof; and also the waters of the sea inside a line com-
mencing from a point in the southern boundary-line of the
County of Waitaki extended a quarter of a mile to the east-
ward from low-water mark ordinary spring tides; thence fol-
lowing the coast-line northerly at the same distance from
low-water mark ordinary spring tides until it meets with
the line of the northern boundary of the County of Waimate
extended a quarter of a mile to the eastward beyond low-
water mark ordinary spring tides: and doth hereby declare
that these regulations shall, as from the date of the publica-
tion thereof in the New Zealand Gazette, supersede all regu-
lations at variance therewith.
REGULATIONS.

LICENSES to fish for trout, perch, and tench in all the
waters of the Waitaki and Waimate Acclimatisation District
shall be issued under the hand of the Secretary of the United
Council of the Counties of Waitaki and Waimate Acclima-
tisation Society (hereinafter termed "the said Acclimatisa-
tion Society "), at Oamaru, and for every such license a fee
of one pound will be charged: Provided, however, that
licenses may be issued to youths under fifteen years of age
on payment of a fee of ten shillings: Provided also that it
shall not be obligatory upon the said Acclimatisation Society
to issue a license: -
