DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership lately
subsisting between us, the undersigned HENRY
WILLIAMSON and JAMES CUNNINGHAM, carrying on business
as General Storekeepers, at Springfield, in the Provincial
District of Canterbury, in New Zealand, under the style or
firm of "H. Williamson and Co.," has been dissolved as from
the 30th day of April, 1889.

All debts due to the said late firm may be paid to either of
the said partners, whose receipt will be a sufficient discharge
for the same.

Dated this 3rd day of May, 1889.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto
subsisting between the undersigned HENRY GEORGE
TOSSWILL and REGINALD BERESFORD KIDD, Storekeepers, of
Pelorus Sound, has been dissolved as from the 29th day of
April, 1889, by mutual consent.

All debts due to or owing by the said firm will be received
and paid by the said Henry George Tosswill, who will
continue the said business.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership, hitherto existing between J. G. FLETCHER
and T. WHEELER, carrying on business as
Butchers, in the Maxwell Road, within the Borough of Blen-
heim, under the style or firm of "Fletcher and Company,"
has been dissolved, as from the date hereof, by mutual con-
sent.

The business will hereafter be carried on by the aforesaid
J. G. Fletcher upon his own account; and all debts due to
the late firm must be paid to the said J. G. Fletcher, whose
receipt will be a sufficient discharge, and all accounts owing
by the late firm must be rendered forthwith to J. G. Fletcher,
who will settle same.

As witness our hands and signatures, given at Blenheim,
this 6th day of May, 1889.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership between
the undersigned THOMAS SMITH and JOHN WILLIAM
BING, in the trade or business of Millers and Grain and Pro-
duce Merchants, at Rangiora, in the Provincial District of
Canterbury, under the style or firm of "Smith and Co.," was
this day dissolved by mutual consent; and in future the
business will be carried on by the said John William Bing on
his separate account, and who will pay and receive all debts
owing from and to the said partnership in the regular course
of trade.

NOTICE.

In the matter of "The District Railways Act, 1877," and
the several amendments thereof, and in the matter of the
Cobden Railway and Coal Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the
aforesaid company to apply to His Excellency the
Governor for authority, under the above-mentioned Acts, to
construct a railway from Cobden vid Coal Creek to a point
near the Seven-mile Creek, a length of 4 miles and 78 chains
or thereabouts; and that the plan defining the midddle line,
and direction thereof, and book of reference showing the
lands required to be taken for the same, and the names of
the owners and occupiers thereof, as far as they can be
ascertained, have this day been deposited, and may be in-
spected, at the office of the Grey County Council, in Gresson
Street, in the Borough of Greymouth, during office hours,
without fee.

"THE DISTRICT RAILWAYS ACT, 1877."

NOTICE is hereby given that the Point Elizabeth Rail-
way Company (Limited) intends to apply to His
Excellency the Governor, under the twentieth section of the
above Act, for leave to construct a railway about 7 miles and
10 chains long from Mawhera Quay, Greymouth, through
Block XII., Greymouth Survey District, and Blocks IV., VII.,
VIII., XI., and XII., Cobden Survey District; and that the
plan and book of reference showing the line of such railway
and the limits of deviation, the lands required to be taken,
and the names of owners and occupiers so far as can be
ascertained, have been deposited at the office of the Grey
County Council, and can be there inspected free of cost.

GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF NEW ZEALAND, SESSION
1889.

In the matter of a private Bill to be entitled "A Bill for
the Closing of certain Portions of certain Streets in the
City of Dunedin for the Purposes of the New Zealand and
South Seas Exhibition, 1889-1890, and to provide for the
Sale of Intoxicating Liquors in the said Exhibition, and
for other Purposes connected with the said Exhibition."

NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to
be made to the General Assembly in the ensuing
session for leave to bring in a Bill to be entitled "A Bill to
provide for the Closing of certain Portions of certain Streets
in the City of Dunedin for the Purposes of the New Zealand
and South Seas Exhibition, 1889-1890, and to provide for
the Sale of Intoxicating Liquors in the said Exhibition, and
for other Purposes connected with the said Exhibition."

The objects of such Bill will be to provide—(1.) That
public traffic may be stopped on the portions of Crawford
and Cumberland Streets, in the City of Dunedin, which are
described in the Schedule to the said Bill, and also in the
Schedule hereunder appearing. (2.) That the stoppage of
the public traffic aforesaid shall be deemed to have been
made as on and from the 1st day of May last past. (3.) That
the Directors of the New Zealand Exhibition Company
(Limited), and all persons by them authorised, shall have
full power to enter into occupation of the above-mentioned
portions of the streets aforesaid, and to make use of and
enjoy the same as if the same were private land granted to
them for the purpose of the Exhibition aforesaid. (4.) That,
anything in "The Licensing Act, 1881," or any thing or act
done, or determination made, under the provisions of the
said Act to the contrary notwithstanding, it shall be lawful
for the Directors aforesaid, or any person or persons by them
authorised, to sell intoxicating liquors in the said Exhibition
during such time as the same is open to the public. And
notice is hereby given that a plan of the above-mentioned
portions of the streets, with a book of reference thereto, will
be deposited in the Examiner's office on or before the com-
mencement of the session, and that copies of the said plan
and book of reference thereto will be deposited for public
inspection with the Commissioner for Crown Lands of the
Provincial District of Otago, at Dunedin, on or before the
9th day of May, 1889.

THE SCHEDULE ABOVE REFERRED TO.

CUMBERLAND Street: All that part of Cumberland Street
situated in the City of Dunedin, commencing at a point,
813 links, in a southerly direction from the intersection of
the south building-line of Police Street, in the said city,
with the west building-line of Cumberland Street; and
bounded thence towards the north by part of Cumberland
Street, 138 links; thence towards the east by other part of
Cumberland Street, 2288 links; thence towards the south by
other part of Cumberland Street, 138 links; and finally on
the west by an Otago Harbour Board endowment, 2288 links,
to the commencing-point. Crawford Street: All that part
of Crawford Street situated in the City of Dunedin, com-
mencing at a point, 803 links, in a southerly direction from
the intersection of the south building-line of Police Street
with the east building-line of Crawford Street; and bounded
thence on the east by an Otago Harbour Board endowment,
1775 links; towards the south-west by the Anderson Bay
Road, 106 links; towards the west by a part of Crawford
Street, 1700 links; and finally on the north by other part of
Crawford Street, 75 links, to the commencing-point: be all the
aforesaid linkages a little more or less.
