Land Transfer Act Notices.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels of land
hereinafter described will be brought under the pro-
visions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1885," unless caveat be
lodged forbidding the same on or before the 11th day of
February next.

  1. THE BANK OF NEW SOUTH WALES. - 30
    perches, parts of Section 235, City of Nelson, fronting 186
    links on Halifax Street, distant 414 links from Collingwood
    Street. Unoccupied.

  2. EDWARD MOORE (Mortgagee with power of sale).
    -7 perches, part of Section 179, City of Nelson, fronting
    45\u00bd links on Harley Street, distant 277 links from Bridge
    Street. Occupied by Henry Eure.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

EVIDENCE having been lodged with me of the de-
struction by fire of lease from HER MAJESTY
THE QUEEN to JAMES TAYLOR, of Section 29,
Block XIII., Tahoraite Survey District, registered in
Vol. i.L, folio 17, I hereby give notice of my intention
to dispense with the production of the said lease on
registering dealings therewith, and to issue a provisional
lease in lieu thereof at the expiration of fourteen days
from the date of the Gazette containing this notice.

tiously believing the same to be true, and by virtue of
"The Justices of the Peace Act, 1882."

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS. - The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act the
charge is 23s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.
The number of insertions required must be written across
the face of the advertisement.
The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday even-
ing in each week, and notices for insertion must be received
by the Government Printer before two o'clock of the day
preceding publication.
Communications should be addressed to the Government
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment
from any place at which postal notes or post office orders are
issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
NO ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
