SCHEDULE.
THAT piece of road in the parish of Papakura, about 112
chains in length, bounded north-westerly by Section No. 26,
road, and Sections Nos. 27 and 28, and south-easterly by
Section No. 33, road, and Sections Nos. 34 and 35, Blocks
XIV. and XV., Otahuhu Survey District; all in the County
of Manukau, in the Provincial District of Auckland: as the
same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked
P.W.D. 16029, deposited in the office of the Minister for
Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of
Wellington, and thereon marked in red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency Sir William
Francis Drummond Jervois, Lieutenant-General
in Her Majesty's Army, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Companion of the Most Honourable
Order of the Bath, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony of New
Zealand and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; and issued under the Seal of the said
Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington,
this fourth day of December, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-
eight.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this thirtieth
day of October, 1888.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken for a public road to be con-
structed by the Masterton Road Board: And whereas the
said land is Native land, and the title to same is not derived
from the Crown:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
vested in him by "The Public Works Acts Amendment Act,
1887," and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in
this behalf, His Excellency Sir William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said colony, doth hereby order that a public road, as shown
on the plan mentioned below, may be constructed on or
through the parcel of land more particularly mentioned in
the Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in
this behalf enabling me, I, William Francis Drummond
Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby fix and appoint that sittings of the District Courts of
Nelson, Westland, Ashburton, Timaru and Oamaru, Otago
Goldfields, and Western Otago, for civil and criminal busi-
ness, shall be held as follows, from and after the first day of
January next, in lieu of those previously fixed and ap-
pointed:—
NELSON DISTRICT.
In the Courthouse, Nelson, for civil and criminal business,
on the 7th January, 4th March, 15th May, 8th July, 4th
September, and 6th November.
WESTLAND DISTRICT.
For civil and criminal business, in the Courthouse, West-
port, on the 25th February, 9th May, 26th August, and 29th
October.
For civil and criminal business, in the Courthouse, Reef-
ton, on the 19th February, 6th May, 20th August, and 25th
October.
For civil and criminal business, in the Courthouse, Grey-
mouth, on the 11th February, 29th April, 12th August, and
17th October.
For civil and criminal business, in the Courthouse, Hoki-
tika, on the 14th February, 2nd May, 15th August, and 21st
October.
ASHBURTON DISTRICT.
For civil business, in the Courthouse, Ashburton, on the
14th January, 11th March, 20th May, 15th July, 13th Sep-
tember, and 15th November.
TIMARU AND OAMARU DISTRICT.
In the Courthouse, Timaru, for civil business, on the 17th
January, 23rd May, 18th July, and 18th November. For
civil and criminal business, on the 14th March and 16th
September.
In the Courthouse, Oamaru, for civil business, on the 18th
March, 27th May,19th September, and 21st November. For
civil and criminal business, on the 21st January and 22nd
July.
OTAGO GOLDFIELDS DISTRICT.
For civil and criminal business, in the Courthouse, Law-
rence, on the 25th January and 26th July.

WESTERN OTAGO DISTRICT.
In the Courthouse, Invercargill, for civil business, on the
29th January, 31st May, 30th September, and 26th November.
For civil and criminal business, on the 28th March and 30th
July.
Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as aforesaid
shall happen to be a holiday, then the Court appointed for
that day shall be holden on the first day thereafter not being
a holiday.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-seventh day of November, one thou-
sand eight hundred and eighty-eight.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the third section of "The Land
Act Amendment Act, 1887" (hereinafter termed "the said
Act"), I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor
of the Colony of New Zealand, having received the report of
the Surveyor-General in this behalf, as in the said section is
provided, do hereby declare that the rural lands enumerated
in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection,
after the lapse of a period of forty-five days from the date of
the first public notification hereof, in the manner and upon
the conditions mentioned in the said Act, and at the price
per acre respectively set opposite such land in the said
Schedule.
