In the matter of "The Companies Act, 1882," and the
several Acts amending the same, and in the matter of the
Geraldine Dairy and Bacon-curing Company (Limited).

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an extraordinary general
meeting of the shareholders of the above-named com-
pany, duly convened and held at Geraldine, on the 17th
day of October, 1888, the following extraordinary resolution
was duly passed: "That it has been proved to the satisfac-
tion of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabili-
ties, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind
up the same." Notice is also given that at the said meeting
JOHN MUNDELL, of Geraldine, Auctioneer, and WILLIAM
COLTMAN, of Geraldine, Watchmaker, were appointed Liqui-
dators, for the purpose of winding-up the affairs and dis-
tributing the property of the said company.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 30s.
per annum, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than
three months cannot be subscribed for.
Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.
Advertisements are charged at the uniform rate of 6d. per
line for each insertion.
For half-yearly statements under the Mining Act, the
charge will be 2s.
All advertisements should be written on one side of the
paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible
hand.

Communications should be addressed to the Governmen
Printer, Wellington, to whom post office money orders should
be made payable.
Postage or duty stamps cannot in any case be received in
payment from any place at which post office orders are issued.
Booksellers and Advertising Agents will be allowed a com-
mission at the rate of 5 per cent.
No ADVERTISEMENT WILL BE INSERTED WITHOUT PREPAY-
MENT BEING MADE.
