All that piece or parcel of land containing 3,100 acres, more or less, situate in the Parish of Waioneke, in the County of Waitemata, in the Auckland Land District. Bounded on the east by Section No. 12 of the said parish, by high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour, by a block of land in the possession of aboriginal natives, and again by high-water mark of the Kaipara Harbour; towards the south-east by Sections Nos. 5 and 6 of the Parish of Mairetahi; towards the south-west by Sections Nos. 6 and 7 of the Parish of Waioneke aforesaid, by the road forming the eastern boundary of Section No. 10 of the said parish, and by Section No. 4 of the said parish; and towards the north by a road to the point of commencement. Cash price, 10s. per acre. All open land of very medium quality.

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by “The Animals Protection Act, 1880,” and the Acts amending the same, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that from and after the date hereof hares shall cease to be within the operation of the said Acts within the Malvern Road District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the fourteenth section of “The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888,” I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the village-settlement lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto, which, with other lands, were set apart by Proclamation issued under my hand on the fifteenth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-seven, shall be open for sale and selection in manner and subject to the conditions as provided in section fourteen of “The Land Acts Amendment Act, 1888,” aforesaid.

Land temporarily reserved in the Land Districts of Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago, Southland, and Westland.

WHEREAS by the two hundred and twenty-seventh section of “The Land Act, 1885,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, William Francis Drummond Jervois, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Land Districts of Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, Wellington, Canterbury, Otago, Southland, and Westland, described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 10 acres 3 roods 30 perches, more or less, called or known as Section No. 21 of the Suburbs of Tuakau. Bounded towards the north-east by a road-line and Section No. 80, 1250 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 80 aforesaid, 850 links; towards the south-west by a road reserve along the Waikato River; and towards the north-west by a road-line, 875 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. For a cemetery.
All that parcel of land in the Land District of Auckland, containing by admeasurement 1 acre and 11 perches, being part of Section No. 2, Block XI., Hukerenui Survey District. Bounded on the north-west by a public road, 215 and 154 links; on the east by other part of Section No. 2 aforesaid, 707 links; on the south by Section No. 3 of Block XI. aforesaid, 230 links; and on the west by Section No. 1 of the same block, 435 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages a little more or less. For a school-site.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 133 acres, more or less, situate in the Parish of Takapuna, in the County of Waitemata, being Allotments Nos. 162 and 163 of the said parish. Bounded generally towards the north by a road, 2035, 2485, 1190, 443, 440, 130, 800, 347, and 1180 links; towards the south-east by a road, 1773 links; and generally towards the south and south-west by high-water mark of the Waitemata Harbour: be the said several admeasurements a little more or less. For a recreation-ground.
